Whenever I need help on my pc I call on my 12 year old GD. We have always got on well and I love being with her. So we arranged to meet about 2pm at her mother's house and I traipsed over there with twins in tow. I hadn't...

I met an elderly couple today at work. They are 81 and 83 years old and they came in to get their taxes done together one last time. Their divorce was final as of TODAY! They sat there and chatted with each other while I was doing...

tinkerick Nope. Every person and every relationship is different. Some may have that point of "no return" per se, but for others - "you're never too old to move on with your life" My grandma was a widow in her 80's. She got married to her new man at age 90. She...

I was just wondering i- do you think that kittens know how to use the litter box from having seen their mothers or from seeing other cats do it? How do they learn? Or do they just know by instinct? I have had some cats in the past...

mzz663 I've had cats and kittens that were used to living outside and brought them inside. The easiest way to train them is to put them in a small room, usually a bathroom works good for a few hours. I put the food and water away from the litter-box but don't let...

courtknee525 I've always wondered about this too...especially since I have a kitten on the way. I think it may just be a natural instinct to do their business in the sand and they also might learn from their parents. I know my cousin's friend got a kitten for Christmas...

dorannmwin I really think that there is something about the litter box that is instinctive to cats. The reason that I believe this to be the case is because of the fact that the first cat that we ever had was a stray when we took him in and he started using the litter...

celticeagle They used hangers for their nests because they could bend them to the measurements of the mother bird. They would drop walnuts on the street at just the right heighth to have it crack but not break. ANd they would do it on the street just as the light turned...

agmamayo Although cats are smart, kittens may still need to be trained in using the litter box. Since they are still kittens, they still cannot jump over or get into the box if its too high or the walls are too big for them. You need to still train them or just put...

celticeagle Some animals just know. We had one kitten that just knew to go in the litter box and had never been trained or anything. It is odd isn't it. I saw a documentary the other day about cows. They are very smart.
