I have tried everything...

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 9 May 09

I have tried everything to get the weight off. Exercise, diet, weight lifting, you name it. It doesn't seem to be a thyroid problem, so I just don't get what I am doing wrong. What other things can get weight off and/or cause...

What would you change if you could?

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 9 May 09

What would be the one thing that you would change about your life if you could? Would it be your career? Your place of residence? Something about you as a person, whether it be physical or intellectual?

Members gone...

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 9 May 09

I haven't been on in a while and I have noticed that several member's profiles are not active any more. I am kind of bummed by it. Some have almost 20,000 posts to their credit. I wonder what made them leave? Also... If the...

It's not working for me here...

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 7 Dec 08

I just don't get it??? I try to give nice answers to everyone. Yet people on here don't seem to see it that way. My star has gone from 7, then to 8, and back to 7. It's very discouraging. I seem to do very well on other sites. I...

I wish the star system would go away...

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 25 Nov 08

I knew that I was approaching my 100th review yesterday and was nervous about getting to it, because I knew my rating star would finally show up. Well, when it did... It was an 8. I wasn't thrilled, but it wasn't too bad. So I...

Where am I missing it?

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 8 Nov 08

Now I was just told by a myLotter that I can give more than one "best response" in the same discussion group. However, once I give a "best response" I noticed that the choice goes away from the other posts. Is this option only...

What about good responses?

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 8 Nov 08

I noticed that once I give someone a good response, I no longer seem to get any more responses. Is it good to give early responses early in the game or should a wait for a period of time? If so...what's a good time frame?

I sure wish there was an edit button for our posts. I understand the plagiarism issues here, but sometimes I could swear that I read and re-read my posts for errors and then as soon as I hit the "start discussion" button, BAM!!!...

Hot or cold?

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 8 Nov 08

Now that the weather is changing and for some of us, it going to get bitterly cold and for others...the winter's will be mild. Which would you prefer? Devastating winters or blistering summers?

What happened to my count?

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 8 Nov 08

Okay. This is really weird. I just signed on and saw where I received credit for (51) active posts/comments. Now I know that I don't get credit for posts that no one responds to. However, I just decided to make another post and...

Everyone seems so skeptical

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 8 Nov 08

I've noticed that a lot of folks seems so skeptical about why folks are here. Folks will try to come up with the most creative title to get others to read their posts and a few will downright ask for support. Based on what I've...

Interesting observation...

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 3 Nov 08

There must be a glitch where my posts are concerned. I notice when I post a reply...my count goes up immediately. But my last 4 "new discussion" posts have yet been added to my account. I even waited a week and it never moved....

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 3 Nov 08

What are some good topics to talk about on myLot? I notice some folks seem to get a lot of response from posts that seem so insignificant and then others get nothing. Any suggestions from some "well seasoned" myLotters out...

Happy Halloween Everyone!

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 31 Oct 08

It was really quiet tonight. Usually I run out of candy every year. Tonight I still had 80% left. That is very unusual for my neighborhood. The weather was quite nice actually...not cold as all. How was your evening?

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 29 Oct 08

I just had a strange experience. I went to post a comment to a discussion and I got a pop-up message that said I couldn't because I wasn't friends with them. I never noticed that before. I thought that I posted several comments to...

What do you do when things don't work out in life?

teresat @teresat (156) • United States 28 Oct 08

What do you do when life didn't turn out the way you wanted it to? My dreams and visions ended up becoming a vapor in the wind. I've been unemployed for 2.5 years and doing odd jobs to barely get by. The mortgage hasn't been...

How does on add an avatar to your profile that is able to have movement? I tried posting an HTML code in the box, but it doesn't take. I want to make my profile more interesting and I see how folks here do it all the time, but I...
