How do Deaf people's thoughts come to mind?

ParaTed2k @ParaTed2k (22936) • Sheboygan, Wisconsin 8 Mar 11

When I think, I think in words, like a voice in my head (before you go off, yes, the voice is my own ;~D). Kind of like a "mind's ear" instead of a minds eye. So that got that voice asking me, if Deaf people can't hear words, how...

undeadhobo Very interesting question. But I don't know if everyone thinks the same way as you do. For example, sometimes my thoughts come to my head as if they were being typed on a typewriter. Other times, I think in images. But I think I'm in the minority so who...

Age is not an excuse.

Lore2009 @Lore2009 (7378) • United States 3 Mar 11

I was reading about Uruguay and came across the painter Pedro Figari. He became a famous painter at the age of 60! He lived in Paris for 12 years after he started art. How do you plan to live your life as you grow older? Will age...

undeadhobo Well, if I get the chance to grow old and be an old man, then I'd probably like to live life at its fullest, seeing as I'd have little of it left in me. You know, skydiving, white-water rafting, skiing in the Alps. Oooh yeah.

the end

undeadhobo I don't think that the world will end that day, but if it does... Well then yes, I've lived a plentiful, albeit very short, life. Though if the world ended I would wish I had time to fall in love, grow old and have kids.

Killing mosquitoes by hand

alok51 @alok51 (84) • India 20 Nov 10

Hey all I just wanted to ask this question that how many of you kill mosquitoes by hand? I dont because i feel disgusted and lazy to wash hands too. Well but many people kill mosquitoes by hands too, most of them.

2 responses

undeadhobo Guilty as charged, your honor :D Killing mosquitoes by hand is kind of a necessity here. If they bite you, it's possible that you get a disease. And we wouldn't want that, would we?
