vanny Conviction rate is as low as 27 percent. Rest either languish or get dismissed for want of evidence. Average 30000 reported cases, and I am sure the numbers are much higher. Just that people don't have faith in the system to deliver justice, so don't file...

vanny That is the law out here. LOL The first time not serious punishment, the second time serious. But what about the many cases prior to the first case that reached the court? When politicos feel, they are boys, they sometimes make mistakes, what can you expect?

vanny The law treats it so lightly. I feel so sorry for the girls. On the one hand there is the issue of dowry, which is tough to accumulate, so they have to study and work, and if they do, then risk of getting raped increases.

vanny @Ineeddentures That is why community parks to enjoy the pets experience the issues ...pay also for costs but not for the entire month, except when fostering. Fostering should be encouraged.

vanny @LindaOHio I don't like them being put to sleep unless it is absolutely necessary. I have decided to adopt a senior dog that would be abandoned, if nobody takes them. Not now, after Dad. I feel I have enough love to give.
