For the love of GOD, please don't try to tell us how we should quit. I don't need to hear how I should just be able to put my pack down and be done with it. Have you tried it? No? Then shut. up. now. Encouragement is fine, being...

wiggedout I know how you feel. I have been trying to quit for about 6 months now. I've gotten myself cut back to about half a pack a day and that hasn't been easy either. I figure when I get down to a quarter of a pack, I'll just put them down and quit, I hope. People...

Do you listen to advice

rubypatson @rubypatson (1840) • India 27 Feb 07

Do you listen to good advice or you just ignore, I do listen, and also implement if possible, but i see many dont like to listen, they feel they are being criticised, and they become all arrogant

wiggedout I listen to advice and then weigh it. If it is something I don't think is for me, then I disgaurd it, but if it is sound advice and I think it is something I can use, then I use it. There are so many people in this world that will give you advice that have...

Don't we have the right to decide who our children are in contact with?

imsilver @imsilver (1665) • Canada 14 Feb 07

A friend of mine got home from work a couple of weeks ago to find a big white envelope in her mailbox. She opened it and discovered that she was being sued by her mother for "grandparents rights". This is a lady who was abusive...

wiggedout That doesn't sound right to me, but there are so many things in the legal system that is not right. Take the case where the mother was being abusive to her children (beating them with a belt) and because the father didn't call SS on her they arrested him too,...

wiggedout Pictures take up a lot of room. You might want to load your pictures onto a memory card and keep them that way. This way you can delete them from the memory and make more room. You can do this with most of what you have in memory and make more room. Get a...

Is disposable diapers OK?

caesarin @caesarin (1089) • Indonesia 14 Feb 07

I heard that it's not good for babies to wear disposable diapers all the time because they might have problems with their hips structure. Because of this, I only let my daughter wears her diapers when she's going to bed at night...

wiggedout I have never heard of this before. I was taught that disposable diapers were fine as long as they were changed on a regular bases. My son, who is now 25 wore them all through his childhood and never had any noticable problems from it.

Would You Dump Your Dog For A Girl/Boyfriend?

slasheuse @slasheuse (79) 14 Feb 07

Let's imagine: you have a great pet, you've had them for a few years. Your dog is your best friend, who has only ever lived with you. Perhaps they're getting old and a bit sick, or maybe they're young and boisterous and need a lot...

wiggedout Hell no. That dog has been a faithful friend and deserves better. Let them go to the doctor and get alergy medicine instead of getting rid of a companion like that and it wouldn't matter if the dog was old or young either, at least not to me. Oh, you could pay...

wiggedout With that much snow and more on the way, I wouldn't, but I live in NC and we don't get that much snow. Most of the time we get 2 to 6 inches max and I will venture out into it to go to work. I'm in security and I "must" be here at all cost, if it's possible.
