Yes, sometimes the dialogues are spoken in hushed tones which make your ear strain and you could miss out its intensity. Subtitles will do the job for you. Moreover, with subtitles you could enjoy a film of any language. I love subtitles.

When you are stranded on an island, better take care to have a collection of light hearted comedies, not emotionally draining ones like Titanic. I would go for my own collection of Indian Movies like Arunachalam, Muthu, Golmaal, Munnabhai series, etc., But, here, we seem to be talking about English movies., so obviously my choice narrows down. Well inkyuboz, you have not watched bollywood movies. They contain so much gore and violence that even the much hyped Hollywood action movies look a pale shadow. Especially, movies starring Sunny Doel and Bobby Doel have such action that sometimes you are on the verge of throwing up at the amount of blood you see on the screen. That's really cool squaretile. Would you send the programme to me. However, I should mention here, that I myself deliberately do get away from my laptop every hour or so. Yes, of course, there are times, when I am so involved that even for 2-3 hours continuously, I am constantly punching at the keyboard. This programme at those moments would help me.
