It's hard to pick a favorite Eagles song but I would have to say that mine is "I Can't Tell You Why." Although, when my children were babies, I sang "Hotel California" to them to put them asleep.

I write poetry myself and have written several for my husband. One time he wrote one for me and it really surprised me. It showed me more than anything how much he loved me. It made me love him that much more.
