If I heard my child say a curse word to anyone or at anytime I would definitely spank them as they know better. If you raise your children right (and not swear as their parent - or you have NO room to punish them), then they know right from wrong and when they chose to do wring anyway, they need to be punished or they will not learn. Good question! I am a home body, but I prefer to be with someone (my husband) when I am home. I don't like being home alone at all! I do get a lot of work done when I am alone, but I can do the same if I am with someone as well. I get home before my husband, so I get some alone time and that is plenty for me.

Ya, I could tell you many stories of times I have blamed my siblings for things, but it always comes back to bite you. The other siblings do the same thing, and you get blamed for things you didn't do as well. There were some fights, but the happy moments outweighed the bad!

When I have kids I wouldn't want them to see their mommy get hit either. I completely agree with you when you say, "If a man will hit you once, he will do it again!". I too would leave my husband if he ever laid a hand on me, but like you and I said, we are lucky to know that would not ever happen to us!
