Six Weird Things About Me

I ran across this by someone else today and thought hey I should do this too. So here it goes on me trying to get name six weird things about little ole' me :)
1. I must have towels, sheets, underwear, socks, and anything else that gets folded when it gets put away folded just the way I want it to be folded otherwise I'll just go back and do it my way anyway.
2. I can 'almost' touch my tongue to my nose. lol I can get the very bottom of my nose, not the top.
3. I am rather flexiable, though not nearly as flexiable as I use to be. I need to work on that more again.
4. I swear that my right leg is quite a bit longer then my left, but my husband says it isn't. lol
5. I haven't drove a car for probably a year and half now. Since my car has been pretty much out of commision. I am a little afraid of not being able to drive once we get my new car, but know I'll be able to pick it back up like riding a bike.
6. The toliet paper must come off the bottom of the roll, not the top. If its not on that way at my house (not others thank goodness) I will change it. lol
7. I can not eat somehing while drinking coffee. Or even before I have coffee. I can only eat something after the coffee has started to leave my system and then I get very hungry and must eat right then.
8. I must OWN the books I read. I don't care if I buy them new or used, but I must own them. I can not just borrow a book from a friend and have to give it back. lol
9. My hands and feet are almost always cold in the winter and sometimes even the summer. I think I spend too much time on the computer. lol Or reading a book, or playing a video game and not actual moving of the hands/fingers.
10. I have two birthmarks on the back of each thigh, at the same place of each thigh and the same exact shape and size.

Even if they are silly, "weird" things. :)
Well, I am sure that I have more than six weird things about me...but, I know that I am not going, and able to name them all.
Some people may think somethings that I do are weird, and I think that they are normal!!
So here I go:
1. I also must have things folded the way they are suppose to be. Well...they must be folded the way that I was taught be my mom. :)
2. I am in High School, so of course I still get grades. And, what annoys me about them is when I have a 95 or below. Yes, it is still an A, but I know that I could do some more to raise the grade higher. And, I have had straight A's since the 3rd grade! However, I do think that I put a lot of pressure on myself sometimes....but I want that A!
3. I think that my arms are longer than others. Seriously! But, that doesn't mean that I do not like them. I love my arms and couldn't live without them!
4. Hmmm...sorry, but I think the toilet paper should come off the top, and not the bottom. I cannot stand it, and I do change it in other peoples houses! Oops...If I ever go to yours, just tell me to leave your toilet paper alone! LOL
5. My hands are always cold. But, so are my feet sometimes. I swear, they really are. And, they are like ice burgs in the winter!! Like you said, it came be in the middle of the steamy hot summer, and my feet or hands will be cold!
And, 6. I thought that you were going to say that you had to birthmarks in the exact same spots that I have them. But, no. I have two birthmarks..one on my upper side, and the other on my inner left thigh! :)

Let me comment first and then I will try to think what I can share...
1. I am anal about laundry as you will see too.
2. I'm impressed!
3. Same here...I think I need to stretch more.
4. That is funny. LOL
5. Wow! That is a really long time!!!
6. OK, that would just bother me because mine comes from the top. ha ha Military thing.
7. I have discovered this also. Coffee curbs my hunger until I have time to eat later. :)
8. I feel the same way about books...but I have broken down to get them from the library since being short on money. Which, again...thanks for the books! :) Hope to finish what I am reading now soon to start the Witch one. :)
9. I would rather be cold than hot. But I am sure this could be annoying.
10. That is awesome! I bet they are cute!!!

This is going to take me a while I think...ha ha
1. Laundry in general has to be done a certain way. Towels are washed completely separate from every thing else to prevent towels lint on clothes. Clothes must be hung up a certain direction on the hanger. And all towels must be folded the same way as indicated and all faced the same way in the closet. Anything that is off from my process, I have to fix it.
2. Maybe this should be with laundry...but my clothes have to be hang according to likeness. Shirt with shirts...but then separated into short sleeve, long sleeve, and no sleeves..and then by color. This way I know where to look for something.
3. I am obsessed with books. I don't care how many I have, I am always looking for more. I have about 12 set aside to read next and even though I have that many, I will still be on the look out for another book to add to the pile to read. And I do read them! Just not as fast since joining myLot. The reserve pile used to only be 2. ha ha
4. Like you Penguinsangel...I don't like giving them back! i buy them from the used books store and they do not bother to stamp what I purchase inside the book for additional credit if brought back to them...because they know it will never see their store again. ha ha
5. I have weird eating habits. ha ha I can be hooked on one food for a couple months and not get enough of it. But suddenly, I stop eating it and I do not want to have it again for 6 months or more. (Drives my partner crazy!)
6. I prefer to stay up all night and sleep during the day. And as much as I tell myself that this is not healthy because I can not sleep all day having children...I do stay up very late and get very little sleep. My poor eldest daughter has to ask me a few times if I am awake or tell me that my coffee is getting cold.
Just because you shared more and this is fun...I am going beyond 6. :)
7. I believe in ghosts. I have had many experiences and no one is going to change my mind on that subject. I could tell you some stories that would give you goosebumps on your goosebumps!
8. I have to have my hair pulled up into a ponytail when cooking. And I have to look at my clothes to see if there are any stray hairs that I need to discard before touching anything.
9. When I am sick I beg for hugs from my partner. But when I am not sick, I really don't need affection. LOL Baaaad I know. I can't help it!
10. I write better responses here in myLot when I am about to get a migraine or have a migraine. Something about my migraines that make my brain function better? LOL
Oh wait!
11. I can never spell separate right. Thank goodness for spell check!!!
(See...got it wrong again...but the spell check caught it again. LOL)

1. My clothes must also be hang the same direction in the closet.
2. My clothes are also color separated, but not in short sleeve/long sleeve.
3. I am always wanting more books...always. I've been trying to be really good though about not buying new ones this year...trying is the word. lol
6. I would much rather sleep during the day then the night too. I love being up at night. HATE mornings.

Here's one...
When I eat a sandwich I always eat the crust first. So, I end up eating a around the sandwich and then I'm left with the yummy soft bread in the middle. :)

1. I have always hated watching TV and talking on the phone... yes, even as a teenager.
2. I am short... and I don't want to be taller.
3. I hate pop culture. Whatever is "in" I am bound not to like. However, Garth Brooks is and always will be my favorite musical artist of all time (this is probably because I became a fan before anyone predicted he would ever be in the mainstream).
4. I LOVE exercise. In fact, I would not be able to survive without movement.
5. Everything about me is an oxymoron (for example, I am not happy with my life a present yet I have a happy person's activity level, I am still young and I am in the arts an entertainment business yet I am politically conservative, I am shy but have the ambitons, leardership skills, and the self-awareness of an outgoing person...) pretty much everything about me will lead to the opposite conclusion you'd expect.
6. My food tastes are very strange. I don't like greasy or mushy food. At all. It has to be firm... I also have to have it plain - can't stand condiments... and I actually LIKE the taste of low-fat... I LOATHE the taste of low-carb though. I can't even stand meat/poultry products unless I can have bread or pasta with it (for example, the fillings in a sandwich must be THINNER than the bread layers for me, not thicker). I also don't like chocolate that much.
7. I'd rather talk about cars and auto racing with men old enough to be my father (my dad and his friends) than talk about make-up and clothes and dying your hair with girls my own age.
8. It is easier for me to befriend people who are much older than I am than people who are my own age. Of the two people I consider my best friends, one is old enough to be my father, and the other is like a much-older sister.
9. I don't see what is so cute about Johnny Depp. I actually find him weird looking.
10. I hate driving. Unlike every other young woman, I DREADED getting my drivers' license simply because I was PETRIFIED of crashing the car or worse, have someone hit me. I even put driving on the back burner throughout high school and most of college so that I could get my dance career in a forseeable position. People thought I was insane for giving up driving so I could have more time to train in dance.

1. I agree with you on the phone. I HATE the phone always have and probably always will. But Tv, I love my Tv.
9. I so agree with you on Johnny Depp. I just do not see the appeal, same goes for Brad Pitt.

Well I can think of some of the weird things about me. I always sleep with one pillow in the right side of me. It must be there. I don't like my food touching if I have more than one kind in my plate. When I eat in the fastfood, I have to finish the fries first. And when I eat burgers, I bite all the sides first. Weird eh?

I'm an extremely weird person, but I do have trouble actually listing all the things that were weird about me. If they could all come to mind, this list would be a hundred items long or more. But I'll write all I can think of at the moment.
1. I only like dill pickles. And I like the the cut, quarters of the pickle. I put it in my mouth and suck out all the slime and seeds then eat it.
2. Sometimes I'll find myself walking around the house just making odd noises and singing to myself in a weird tone... I won't give anymore details.
3. When I'm in a sleeping bag I can't have it zipped up all the way, nor can I have it unzipped past the middle. I also hate when the sleeping bag is slightly crooked!4. I love popping my toes and can bend some of my toes all the way back to touch the top of my foot. I haven't done that in quite a while though.
4. I like to just write or draw random phrases to see my handwriting. I just like to see my own handwriting.
5. Whenever I am playing cards with someone, if there is a "center pile" and cards are in a stack, I always have to line them up perfectly so they're all stacked even. And if cards are laid out individually I like them aligned.:)
6. While I type on the computer I always tilt my head so far to one side or the other, and I can't help it. People always make fun of me.
7. Another thing on typing, I type incorrectly, and it's too hard to correct because I've been typing this way hours everyday for years. So I can't change now. I use all the fingers on my left hand and only 1 or 2 fingers on my right (and I'm right handed!) However, I can still type pretty fast - sometimes over 110 words a minute.
There's probably so much more, but I'd better be going or else I could just keep thinking of stuff and be typing all night long! I love your survey discussions, reading and responding them. They're fun and make MyLot a more interesting place. I enjoyed doing this!:)

Six weird things huh?
Here goes:
1. I don't care if my food is all touching each other, but I eat one item at a time. All of one thing, then all of the next etc.
2. I like frosting more than cake (Buttercream...Mmmmmm)
3. We have a sleigh bed and if I sleep on my stomach I tuck my feet in between the matress and the footboard. And when I sleep in a bed that doesn't have a footboard I feel like I'm going to fall out of bed.
4. I sleep with the window open, ceiling fan on, and the least amt. of clothes possible even when it's cold out.
5. I like to eat Coffee Mate creamer out of a spoon, just dry.
6. Raw meat gives me the heebie jeebies lots of times.

so we must all be a bit loopy then! I like this, got me thinking and I came up with millions, but here are six wierd things about me at random!
1. Toilet roll must go the right way round, hanging over the front not from the bottom, I dont care whose house it is, I will change it!
2. I really really really really cant stand bogies - just keep them away!
3. the idea of chewing gum in my belly button freaks me out.
4. I must sleep with my back to a wall and not a door.
5. I love Eurovision.
6. My clothes in the wardrobe must be colour coded.
God, reading that back makes me sound a bit loopy!

Most of the weird things here are just Obsessive behaviour, unlike the birthmark one which is really quite weird..
My real weird things are:
1) I have random longer eyebrow hairs that can protrude about an inch or so, they are a couple of tones lighter than the regular eyebrow hairs - my wife always wants to pull them out, I don't let her..
2) I eat way more than most people, including fats and sugars, but I am always around 10 stone (sorry don't know what that is in pounds, but I am slender and cannot put on weight no matter what I eat). I can eat one of those Christmas bars of chocolate that is supposed to be for a large family - it takes me a day to do it....
3) I can remember every time I have vomited in my adult life, I am the 'other' side of 40 and have vomited 3 times up to now...last time was when I cooked some stew with garden herbs in it and didn't bother to remove a tiny little green caterpillar. (I vomited plenty 'til I was about 9 or 10)
4) I am about 5'9", but have longer legs than most people my size (I wear 30" waist jeans, but must have 32"leg)
5) I have more shoes than most (probably more than most women)
6) I have inherited double toe-nails from my Mother's family... some of my toes have double-layer nails on them (my daughter has some too)

What a great discussion. It is comforting to know that I am not the only one with weird quirks! Six of my many weird quirks follow:
1. I can't stand for my cereal to be soggy, therefore I eat it without milk and then take a sip of milk from a glass.
2. I cannot get in bed an fall asleep unless the covers are neat and tidy with the sheet folded back over the top edge of the blanket. (can't stand for the blanket to touch my face)
3. I can't fall asleep without white noise. I carry a white noise maker with me whenever I travel.
4. I cannot stand to read a newspaper if it has been read and not folded to be good as new.
5. I cannot stand to shower and not immediately use a Q-tip in my ears.
6. I refuse to cook in a cluttered kitchen. When preparing a meal, I have to start with a sink that has no dishes and countertops that are free of clutter.
See, I am really weird huh?!

I love this discussion - kudos to you for originality! I'll give it a try too:
1. I have to drink bottled water. I cannot drink tap water. This is due mainly because medication I take makes the tap water taste metallic.
2. I wore a training bra in the first grade and a real bra in the second grade. I'm not a DD, but what I have, came early. LOL
3. My middle name is Marie, only it is spelled Myree. I cannot tell you how many people have pronounced it My Ree.
4. I only buy jeans at one store. I can't stand the way other store's brands of jeans feel on me. I won't pay more than 20 dollars for shoes, but I'll drop 50 dollars on a pair of jeans from that store. Go figure!
5. I have never given my dog a normal name. Some of the ones I have used were/are: Meshugana, Sully, Little Booger, Sherlock...
6. I can swim UNDER water, but not above water. I can't explain it at all. I can't even float!

I hate the taste right out of the tap
wow you got your boobies early!! lol Very much so.
My middle name is May, but is spelled Mae (which I know isn't as common, but isn't uncommon either).

To match with your wierd six I also can touch my tongue to my nose which seems easy but alot of people can't do,strange.Now the toilet paper has to be over the top of the roll and usually no one in the house knows how to put a new roll on,If I read a book from the library or a friend and really like it I have to buy it as one I just read now and want to keep.I will usually change the clothes I'm wearing to go to the store or something.I have to wash my face first thing in the morning and will not go outside without first doing this.For the sixth,when we eat out I do not like to sit with my back toward people or have them behind me.

i like this idea you do get to know your myspace family alot better and have some laughs doing it,, hmmm 6 things huh well let me see if i can think of 6
1 i cant stand dirty dishes in my sink, its just yuck
2 t paper has to be on top
3 my towels are hung on the rack a certain way, my bf messes with me just to see if i notice and yeah i have to fix it
4 i have 2 birth marks on my tummy in the exact same spot on both side
5 i only have one dimple instead of 2
6 my eyes change color from brown to hazel to green depends on my mood
7 i have to drive fast going slow i will get sleepy
8 when clothes come out of dryer they must be folded then not later and the shirts have to be hung up on hangers asap
9 i always put my left shoe on first
10 my dad says i always do every thing the hard way i never take the easy route

1) I can drink as much Guinness as I want, and still type
2) I can , and like to rest for a few weeks sometimes

What a great way to learn about each other! Here are mine!
1. I can not stand clutter. If something is laying out I have to put it in its place.
2. I am compulsive about locking doors. I have even left the house, driven down the road and then coming back to ensure that the doors are locked.
3. I am deathly afraid of snakes and will go out of my way to steer clear of them.
4. I have a hard time telling people no...this might be why I am so involved. I am PTA President, Midget League Cheerleading Coach, Homeroom MOther and Part time designated driver for the softball and baseball teams! I am active in boy scouts, often taking a group to an event.I am also the one who gets asked to man concession stands and ticket booths, and to bring covered dishes to church functions. This makes me tired just typing it...I have to learn how to say no!
5. I don't like my food mixed together...they can be touching on a plate, but I wouldn't eat the peas mixed into mashed potatoes, etc.
6. I don't want anybody to help me do things. I try to be self-sufficient, even if I hurt myself doing things like bringing in the wood for our woodstove.

Love this stuff!
1. I can wiggle my ears. I mastered this when I was a teenager. Saw someone doing it and needed to do it too.
2. I have the tendency to mimic laughter, especially when I love the way a person laughs.
3. I too like my toilet paper to go under the roll. The weirdest thing about it is the fact that I will change the direction of the roll even if I am at another person's house.
4. I have 2 holes in my right ear, not in 2 different places. When I was 12 years old, a friend talked me into piercing my ears. I managed to get the needle about half way through my right ear when I saw blood, freaked and stopped. Later on when I did pierce both of my ears I found it difficult to put the earring in due to the fact that there are 2 holes in the same place, but one goes in a different direction.
5. I loved Red Skelton so much. It infatuated me to watch him cross his eyes and move one back to proper position and keeping the other crossed. I practiced it until I could do the same.
6. I have always wanted to touch my tongue to my nose. They say that the tongue grows with age, apparently not enough to touch it to my nose. I keep trying.
6a. I never answer the phone on the first ring. I wait for the caller ID to show who it is. Guess that isn't too weird. I do remember a time when I raced to get the phone on one ring.
6b. If my husband folds the towels, I unfold them and refold them in thirds. I can't stand to see the towels in squares.

hmmm okay...lets see
1. I am anal about the dishes, i wash them then put them in the dishwasher (i know)
2. i sit with my toes facing outward (looks like it would hurt but is very comfortable for me)
3. i am madly in love with an older man who nobody particularly likes that much
4. i love to eat cheese even though i am allergic to it (lactose intolerant) makes me quite sick if i eat too much of it
5. i am afraid of the dark lol (for real)
6. i think i am weird, lol
well i know there is more i cant really think of anymore right now though
