What do you think of this sentence: "Money brings happiness to those who find happiness earning it". Does money really bring happiness? Can we survive without money? Can we find happiness if we dont have money? Is money the answer to everything? Give one example anyone who is happy without money.

I don't think the sentence says anything about money bringing happiness :) Just that a thing brings joy to the one who likes having a lot of that thing. As I see it it might just as well be rephrased into "Stamps bring happiness to those who find happiness collecting stamps" or even "Chickens bring happiness to those who find happiness collecting chickens". It's a sort of a truism, I mean if one finds happiness in collecting say chickens saying that chickens bring his happiness would be only rephrasing it :) And no, money doesn't actually bring happiness, it may make your life easier but not happier as they cannot buy you people to love you and understand you and these are the ones you need most in life. As for surviving without money, you probably can, in some extreme cases. Happiness without money? But of course. (I don't mean with 0 money but with very little financial resources). Money the answer to everything? I think it is the exact opposite, a possible answer to some minor issues, but never to be taken into account when it comes to serious matters.

I think because they are tired of earning money so when the paycheck arrive thay feel very happy. But what is the very reason, why we are trying hard to earn money? because of our loved ones. I think we will be happy without money as long as our love ones is with us.

Money cannot buy happiness, but money can make your misery more comfortable :-)

I don't thin kmoney brings true happiness, but it sure makes life easier! I think my hubby's aunt is the best example of someone who is happy without money, however I have to say she has a few bats in the belfry if ya know what I mean. However she always finds joy in the little things, and doesn't take stuff for granted like those that are financially sound do. She is honestly the happiest person I know. She doesn't concern herself with things that other people do, she's happy with what she has and says she doesn't need any more than what the Lord provided for her. Me personally, I've been poor, I didn't like it too much. My hubby and I fought over money all the time and there was always an insane amount of stress in our daily lives. We are in a good place financially now, and we both do everything we can to keep it that way. Money may not be the answer to everything, but it's pretty darn close. Can't cure cancer without the money to fund the research, can't have electricity without money to pay the bill, you get my point.

I like your response. Money is not everything. We can find money but not happiness. I like your aunt's lifestyle, simple but happy. Enjoying thing she does. It is more difficult for us who are so used to using money to get anything or to go anywhere. Without money, we are worried about how to pay bills, how to make ends meet and so on. But hey look at those rich people, they are not happy. I guess if we live in moderation, money is not an issue.

Money is really important for some of us. Because it is something we use to get what we want in life. But not everyone of us wants to have money. Just like my relatives in the barrio, yes they need money to buy their basic needs but then it is not the reason that they are happy. They are happy because they are with their family and they have a simple life. They don't tend to be problematic when they don't have money because they can still survive without it.

well of course, all of us needs money. and honestly i dont think people can live normally without a penny at least in our pockets. but i dont feel and think that money will bring us happiness. it can bring temporary smile in our faces... but it will not bring permanent joy and contentment in our hearts.
