Suddenly I'm getting emails telling me someone has responded to a response???

I have checked all my settings, all my notify buttons are set to OFF. I've checked my preferences, all the email me buttons are unticked. So why, after all this time on this site, having never received any emails telling me that someone has responded to a response, I keep getting these emails:-( I have switched off all the notifications but they keep arriving, help!!! Is this happening to everyone or am I being picked on?

Yeah, it also happens to me. MyLot sends us an e-mail notification whenever somebody responds to your response. This is one of the new features here. I don't know if it's possible to switch them off. I guess you may ask MyLot about this matter. Goodluck!

i just started getting those also-but i kind of like them.sometimes it's so far back i wouldn't know otherwise.i figured the system had a delayed brainfart or something,and that's why i never got them.

I've just noticed this myself (I've been gone for awhile)..and I can't turn it off either.
I'm debating whether or not this'd be an okay thing or if it'll be a pain lol.
I hope you find out how to turn 'em off soon. Maybe you can contact mylot and ask?

It's a relatively new thing that many of us want. Apparently you are one of those who don't want it. Try writing myLot that you want this off. So it seems that they give it to you regardless of your notification settings.
I think myLot is still testing this. It was introduced on the sly, then it disappeared... just got back again today.

LOL I just had to be difficult didn't I hun, but I don't like getting a load of mails in the inbox. I've mailed to ask if they can turn mine off for me. Thanks hun

Oh, there are so many strange things in mylot but it is the first time to hear something like you.It is a good thing ,isn'it as you do not need to spend time to switch them on but you can get the notifications.If i had this feature,I did not need to spend few hours to turn them on.lol.

You don't have to spend hours turning them one. All you have to do is change the settings in your preferences. But for people who don't want notifications and have that preference turned off, this is a real annoyance.

I started getting those too, and wondered about it. Coincidence or not, I noticed them at the moment a drizzle outside turned into a downpour. I hope your complaint gets the response you want.

I'm having the same problem. I don't want to be notified, and I don't have those preferences checked. I sent a complaint to Mylot, and if enough people will do the same, they might change it. What's the point of having a preference setting if they're just going to override it?
