Just wondering out of curiousity, how many of you writers here on MyLot have heard of writing.com? It's great for exposure, and fellow authors can give constructive critism for your pieces. You also have an option to not let other people see certain works, or only allow fellow authors to read it instead of readers and/or the general public. It's awesome! My account on there is http://Writing.Com/authors/maraya. I have a couple of poems up, but that's it. I need an upgraded account which I can't affored, so I can only have the five items in my portfolio that are there. Someday I will upgrade though, so I can add more of my writing.

I was one time a member of writing.com, but since opening my own writing community http://www.todays-woman.net I only post my writing there.

I have been a member of Writing.com for over 5 years. Then it was actually Stories.com. I am a mod there and followed a fellow mod here where I haven't really had much time to do more than feel my way around. I am at http://rancher.Writing.Com/ I also split my time up with Gather.com.

Oh, wow. I totally forgot that it used to be Stories.com. That's so cool that you've been there that long!

I have an upgraded account. I have a few things on there. I like the site, but I haven't been on it in a while. But overall I think it's a good site.

I have an upgraded account there and while I haven't spent much time there lately it's well worth it. There are plenty of ways to get an upgrade though - you can ask one of the many groups to help (RAOK for example) you can read and review others and earn points that way - enter contests etc etc etc. It's a great site and I have learnt a lot from it

That's what I plan on doing. I've had RAOK members donate and get me an upgraded account before, but they always expire after 1-3 months. I'd like to have one that lasts for 6 months to a year for a change, so I'm going to keep trying to earn more GP's on there so I can earn it that way!

I actually think I signed up one time or another but haven't done anything with it. I guess I should check it out. I've been busy writing for Associated Content. Quite a few MyLotians are writing there. It's a nice paycheck. In any case I will definitely check up on my account at writing.com. No use signing up and then not using it. Hope you have a wonderful Thursday afternoon. Keep writing.
