What can you instill in your children to make this Earth a better place for them to live?

A love and respect for the earth, such as going organic, re-using and recycling, and eating mostly vegetables and vegetarian foods. Take care of the earth, or else there won't be an earth around to take care of.

I wouldn't know where to start. We can teach them to be the best people they can possibly be yet it's the outside influences that always steer them wrong. I personally think if we could all live together as one race of human beings and not be so intolerable of color and religion that it would be a great beginning.

The first word I thought of was tolerance. Tolerance for other races, cultures, and for the human condition in general. The second word was consideration, and by that I mean to be considerate of the environment around them, the people around them and their feelings. That is not always so easy to do but if we raise a generation of close minded, selfish individuals where will we be 30 years from now?

We would probably be heading down the same path we are now. Nothing good comes easy, but you are right, it starts with us. PEACE
