My personal statement about man on Mylot.

I am staying away from Myspace because the site is full of sickos and perverts.
On My lot so far I was happy with all of my friends. At about week ago I start accepting new friends, because many of my old friends are not active for long time.
Few from my new friends start sending me messages that make me feel every uncomfortable and angry.
I stop accepting friends if male and younger than 25. Also, I am deleting all “friends” who would like to play sickos and perverts and I will report them to My lot administrators.
I am not here to tell anyone what my real name is, what I do and where I live.
All information I want others to know are on my profile, my topics and my responds.
I am not sending my pictures and I don’t have to respond to any…”requests”
Those “requests” are showing me disrespect and are making me angry.
I am very nice and easy going person, but if someone gets on my nerve, I can be really furious and mean. My message is: “Report yourself jerk and quit harassing me”.

that's terrible! i'm sory you had to go through that, some people are just jerks.
maybe if you change your icon (avatar) to a pic of an ugly old man, they won't ask you such ridiculous questions ;) you do photography, so you know the 'power of the image' haha.

That's shocking polachicago. Fortunately all my friends are genuine, and I feel would make real good friends in real life, but we're in cyber life and I will never know them personally. That's the way I thought these forums worked.
I enjoy your posts, so don't let these sickos frighten you away.

I acepted a new friend about a week ago, and then yeatserday I recieved a message, and while not rude in any way, they just want to sell stuf. This person is annoying also, but not even close to the harrassment you're receiving.
Report them and get them banned.

I dont accept friends altogether, unless i know them in real life, there are two on my account which i thought i will try and they havent done anything to me, they havent even been online so im just leaving them but all other requests im ignoring because i dont want to recieve messages from sickos like you have unfortunately got which i do feel for you and hope they get whats coming to them!

I'm rather picky about who I accept a request from myself...it's one thing if someone has actually posted on one of my discussions, but then I get a whole army just about from people I just don't know about--they never looked at or posted on my discussions, nor I with them and I'm wondering what gives here--I've been fortunate that no one has asked any personal info from me...yet...but you better believe I'll report too if harassed.

Some people just seem to spam lots of folks, and figure they'll get at least a few new 'friends,' here and on Myspace. Some guys probably go for anyone who's female and seems appealing.
I get friend requests on Myspace hot-looking teen girls who say 'my friends and I saw your profile and we think you look hot'--kind of funny since my profile pic is an illustration of a saber-toothed tiger!

Mmmm I feel lucky I added you more than a week ago... I am very sorry for that, but I have seen mylot staff acts quikly (I have been rewarded myself for one mistake much less important) so I guess they will be banned soon, you don't have to worry. It is a shame we have to waste time making some kind of detective work on the friends we add, instead of spending it on discussions...

This is a 2 week old discussion and i don't know how I missed it..
Oh my God! ! You seems so furious here,but also you are right too.I hope they get the message,and now after 2 weeks you calm down.

I don't accept friends anymore. I have too many on my list I never go through it and delete any of them in case they already left mylot. But today I will deny any friendship request until I finish going through my list.

I didn't accepet new friends for a long time and I denied all friend request...few people seams to be ok....we all made mistakes....

by the way you surely can report these people to mylot and they'll take care of it. I used to just rely on how I feel about certain people, if I don't feel like responding to them or accepting as friend, I wouldn't. It's my prerogative anyway. Hope you feel better now.

my dear friend I am very sad because you went through such a disappointment..I must admit I had no messages like this here in mylot...some new friends would only address me to paying sites and so on..and I simply avoid replying because I am not interested in this..but as a woman and a friend of yours I can quite understand how you are feeling..I hope it would never happen again but of course you are right in reporting them to the administrators.they are here to keep this a peaceful and nice place.
I hope you are feeling better and you have already forgotten everything about these bad guys!!!

yes, I am fine...I want to have mostly female friends...and will not take people from few countires that I am 100% sure now...don't respect woman at all....

yeah I think the mylot first friend I accepted started to ask weird questions.... so I deleted him. I haven't added too many friends since then because I don't like being harassed. I just ignore the sickos. I think that's all one can do, and it takes the power away from them. If you answer them in any way you give them what they want.
I like Myspace though, haven't been harassed there yet. And I am able to find a lot of new music from bands who want me to add them for exposure.

Newsflash! Everyone in the human race is a sicko and a pervert. All of this whining is pretty ironic because it sounds like it belongs on MySpace or on some AOL page or any other naive community. Maybe you should join your local church choir or take up crochet or something. You'll be happier living in your own world rather than trying to expose yourself to the real one and then making up a bunch of negative stereotypes about it, like I have.
