Im not sure if you have heard of them? If so does anyone write for them? I have and they do not offer much. Lately I have only been recieving three dollar offers for my content I submit. I think if some one takes there time to write, they should at least get paid for it. What do you think?

What sort of bugs me about the site, if you do not watch how you offer it for submission, then they have all the rights to that Article and you cannot submit the same thing to someone else somewhere else. But it is a nice thought giving us a chance to show our Writing talent.

Hi again hannah, Another coincidence? I write often for AC. You are right, the pay is a bit low, but I try to submit as many articles as I can during the week. I make pretty good money at AC. Here is my CP page at AC http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/15507/teri_lee_hooper.html Check it out when you get time.

I dislike the low caps on some types of material. Like the max you can earn for a college paper s $4 and i've got some da-- good college papers that are worth much more than that.

I think you're right. They should pay you more than $3 to write a story. and i think they should be paying others besides Americans. Why would they expect other people to write for free?

If your post is an example of your writing skills, then you can consider yourself lucky to have your articles accepted, and to get paid at all. In one short paragraph, you have punctuation, grammar, and spelling errors. AC pays for quality as well as content, and one way to get paid more, there or on any worthwhile writing site, is to improve your skills.

I dont care how my post look I have skills and im not the only one they pay low. You try posting stuff with two kids on your lap and late at night. Lets see how good your skills are. has anyone ever told you,if you cant say something nice then dont say it at all?

"I dont care how my post look I have skills and im not the only one they pay low. You try posting stuff with two kids on your lap and late at night. Lets see how good your skills are. has anyone ever told you,if you cant say something nice then dont say it at all?" I knew you would respond this way because people who aren't given the credit they think they deserve, even though they're not as qualified as they think they are, are always the ones to complain about how badly they're being treated. If you want to see my skills, they're right here in front of you. And I don't believe in that "if you cant say something nice then dont say it at all?" We learn from being told things we need to know, even if they're unpleasant. But some people prefer "being nice" to being honest. Good luck with that.

Are you always such a negitive person? People like you think they are better then everyone. Im not saying my skills are perfect but I try. Im very proud of what I do even if I only get 3 bucks. Maybe you should learn how to give better constructive critisism. Then people might listen to you.

My current average for initial offers is a little over 6 bucks per article. It's not fabulous, but it's not too shabby, considering that I can choose my own topics and all that. But it does depend on what you're writing about -- if it's a common topic, or if you don't go into enough detail, or if it's not something that will be searched frequently, you won't get paid much. It's also my understanding that now with the new PV system, newbies won't get paid much until they have proven that they can attract readers. Hang in there, and hopefully things will get better for you!

I have been writing with AC for a few months now. I too noticed the decline in offers and submissions. It is a bit frustrating when we put all that hard work into creating an article or story for them to dismiss them out of hand. Also, don't pay attention to rude people that responded to this discussion. I know that I myself don't put as much thought into my grammer and punctuations when I am posting on here. But that is not an indication of how I write my articles for AC. :)
