Underwire Bras

Do you like underwire bras. Do they work well for you? I really don't care for them unless they were padded and you don't notice the wire. I remember running one day while wearing an under wire and that succa stuck right into my skin. I don''t think they provide that much support and are not comfortable. Do most bras support you o.k.? What do you look for when searching for a bra?

I used to wear underwire bras because I like the support they give. However, I found that the underwire was the cause of my chest pains. I stopped wearing underwire and don't have the chest pains anymore. You really must be careful with underwire. It can also dig into your underarms.

I have always had to wear an underwire due to being well-endowed. I simple do not get enough support from a bra that is not underwire. Even those that claim to offer GREAT support without an underwire...just bend in half with the weight of the girls!

I use to wear the underwire bras but I have stooped because after a while the wire breaks through the material. This has happened to every underwire bra I have had. And you are right the do stick you in your skin!

i do like them-but i've gotten in the habit of re-enforcing the tops before i wear them.
i get tired of them breaking though and stabbing me after awhile.

I do like to wear an underwire. I'm rather large-chested and I have trouble with a lot of the brands without a wire not providing enough support. There are a few that I have that are OK without a wire (but I think they're all nursing bras now that I think about it!).
I think the Victoria's Secret ones with the underwire are the most comfortable I've found so far.

I hate underwire bras. I'm large chested too, they pinch me and hurt my arms too, cause the wires seem to poke me all over. I actually cut the wires out of bras. I prefer a sports type bra. I feel that they give me enough support. When I search for a bra I look for something soft, lace irritates my skin. I like them plain too. I do own 1 black bra, but the rest are white.

I hate hate hate underwire bra! they feel like they are suffocating me, but then if u dont have an underwire bra, it looks like your boobs are saggy!
