Being verbally attacked.

In my last discussion, I was attacked by a relatively new mylot member, so I have decided to ignore this person, and will no longer respond since he continued to verbally attack me even after I asked him nicely to stop.
I don't know this person and have no desire to, and have never responded to any of this person's discussions in either a positive or negative way so he had absolutely no reason to do this.
His last response in which he pretty much called me a whiney woman and basically told me I should shut up, and also pretty much called me a coward, I did not respond and simply reported him.
I can say a lot of things about this person after visiting their website, but I won't, except to say they are a hypocrite.
In the future I will refuse to respond to negativity, name calling and verbal abuse here on mylot.

It is sad when we can't have people respond with respect, even when they disagree. We have a very good friend who calls people 'stupid' and worse if they don't agree with his politics. I don't mind anyone having strong views, I do mind if they are rude about it.

No, they don't have the 'right' to do/say things like that, but they seem to think they do. I keep hoping to be a better influence, or at the very least, to not sink to the level that uncouth people so often do, in their speech and actions.

I feel really sorry for you but somehow I do not understand that why people spread so much of bitterness in this world, Life would be beautiful if such persons are not around, it is good that you reported this person as abusive. I am really proud of mylot community but I truly feel that those who spread bitterness should be definately banned from here.

I'm sorry! But I am hoping htat you stick around I think that alot more people are nice than nasty. I had someone get really nasty with me when I first started out. I said something about we need spell check. ANd she went on and on about me being lazy! I never explained to her why because she didnt deserve a reason. I am really bad at typ~o's. My eyes have been going down hill. At times I will look and look and I cant tell is that a m or an n. And they are right next to each other. Yes I was just at the eye Dr. I'm getting OLD!

shame on that person. all of us here in mylot give feedbacks, and in feedbacks, there's no right or wrong, it's our own opinion. good for you you ignored that person. don't worry, there are other mylotters here who are worth your while, like me, LOL. hope you're ok now.
