Everyone always focuses on the bad things going on in the world. Please

Everybody who is doing good things in this world are angels. Lets pray that we find such people and be happy.

People are making strides to give gay people the same rights as heterosexual people. There a few states now (more than one now, finally) that allow gay people to marry. A load of good music has come out recently. Since filming and movie technology is now AWESOME, all our favorite books and comics are now coming to the big screen! Uh..the government is making an active effort to help our planet by building bio-homes (enviromentally harmonious and efficient homes), along with developing better cars which will run completely on bio-fuel to cut off our dependancy on oil. Annnd..that's all I know about, right now. Lol.

There is a man named Rick Shrager that my wife has met online, and wants to help. What he does? if you send him your address he will write you a letter. If you're lonely or just want to get a letter in the mail, you go to his site, and put down your address. He'll write to you about the weather, the scenery the children playing in the park, the way the sunset looked over his home, anything. It doesn't have to be indepth, it doesn't have to be world changing politics he's talking about. he'll just...write you a letter, so that one day when you open your mailbox you don't just receive bills and junk, you receive something for you. personally. something a lot of us don't get any more, unless it's email. you receive a moment of kindness, that was free.

In my little corner of the world, the night jasmine is blooming making the world smell wonderful. My family loves me and my cat is the single most spoiled cat in the world. All of that makes dealing with the stresses that are bad about the world a little easier to deal with.

well, the good thing will always be that everyone of good hearts and minds are always working towards the achievement of a peaceful environment. in the philippines, the government is doing everything within its power to have a good economic recovery and its efforts are met with some success. people may not admit it, but it is true to life is a little better now than how it used to be so neck wrangling. there are still a lot of people with good hearts and advancements in technology is continuously gaining ground. there are lots of goods thiings happening. however, as media says, no good news is worth some news...it is bad news which is news.

For about a month and a half, the girls at my work (including myself) campaigned to raise money for the Alliance for the Great Lakes. This organization helps clean up Lake Michigan and its surrounding beaches. This was part of Aveda's Earth month campaign, as we all work at an Aveda store. The organization, as a whole, concentrated on raising awareness about the importance of clean water and the things that can be done to improve water conditions around the world. Each district was allowed to concentrate on a regional organization and thats why we worked with the Great Lakes org. We raised over $3K for that organization!

I confess I focus on the bad things in the world hoping to change things.. Something good... hmmm.. nothing's coming to mind thus far.. Nature is beautiful.. people are beautiful and priceless.. babies are born.. family is great.. father's and sons looking alike.. moms and daughters, etc.. people are living long lives in the advanced societies that is.. most people, even the misguided, mean well! That's most, not all!:)

We are alive and kicking for one. We have a beautiful country that each of us live in. We have food and shelter, and some people have families to love and be loved by. We are progressing fast in computers which is very helpful to police and hospitals.

Well, it seems that there are more bad things than good things going on in the world. We can frequently hear more bad news such as wars, crimes, infidelity, scandals, and other "odd" human behaviors. I rarely hear about good news, though. The only good thing that I can think of is new breakthroughs or new inventions (i.e., science, technology). It doesn't mean that there is no good things in this world. But it is only very often. I believe some people do care about others. There are some wonderful people who are working for the good of mankind.
