Lemony Snicket book? Did you like the way the series ended? Do you think it really is done?

I haven't had the chance to read any of the books because I work a lot. And I enjoy this so much now I can't stop, but I did love the movie and find it to be a very intersting story idea. If I had children I would get them the whole series to read and read it myself.

Maybe you'll get around to reading them someday. They are pretty bizarre, and they get more so the farther you get into the series. I know kids like them. I try to keep up with children's literature because of my work with children. I will say I liked these books better than Captain Underpants.

I've read the whole series. I must admit at first i thought sniket spoilt the series with a bland end. But if you read it numerous times it is quite a clever way of ending his bizarre series.

I have not read any of them, I liked the movie. Jim Carrey as a villain was great, and Billy Connolly was as good as usual.

I know this is one movie that I didn't like Jim carry acting in. I have heard that the book is good though. This movie just doesn't fit him at all to me.

I don't know if I liked the end of The End or not. The Bad Beginning was good, and the miserable middle was mostly magnificent, but I felt that The End ended abruptly. There's more to the story, but the author said as much in The End. Thus, I doubt there are more books on the way. It offered a sense of closure, in a sense, but also an open-ended-ness reminiscent of "The Lady or the Tiger." I liked it, but I'm not sure why. Please excuse my verbosely forced diatribe.
