Do You Smile A Lot?

Do you smile a lot? Well, you should. Practice smiling at everyone you see, whether a total stranger you pass in the supermarket aisle or your postman. Saying a kind word at the appropriate time, is even better. How’s your sense of humor? Do you like to laugh? The cycle begins when you look and feel good about yourself. Surround yourself with other positive people. Don't get bogged down with negative people. Make everyone wonder what you're up to. Just smile. It's contageous.

you are right about that. smiling is good for the soul, for your heart. it's good for your mental health. i smile all the time! i say good morning to people i met in the street, in the store every where. i even skip like a 5 year old when my smile get's to big for my face and my heart is smiling. it make me feel good and it always puts a smile on the faces of people who see this grown woman skipping down a New York street. either they are laughing at me or with me, i got them to smile!! so my goal is done

that's right girl, you have to let that little girl out and play that is the beauty of children, they think every thing is possible, and they don't take no for an answer. so when i feel good, i allow my little girl out to play, and i know everything i want is possible and i feel good like i have it right now.

"to become as little children" - isn't that what that scripture means? Trusting, at peace, childlike, loving and simple? Don't you just love it?

Well I do like to smile a lot, I don't know why. To me it just feels good. I'm always smiling. When I wake up in the morning and the atmosphere just feels good, when I see someone I know, obviously when something good has happened. I smile so much one of my friends calls me a Jolly Rancher. She thinks I'm always happy and smiling. I smile to strangers when they pass me on the way to school they look at me I look at them and I say good morning, hello, or just smile. I guess the reason I like to smile so much is to show off my teeth. They're just so straight and shiny white. Good Day :) .

My high school teacher once asked us to tell him the desease the most knowleged DOCTOR cannot CURE? And we gussed and we did not give him the answer he needed and we where flogged for that, because he said that we are not using our senses!Forget about HIV/AIDS,he said it is LAUGHTER!And we all laughed and he said that is what i mean,it is very contageous(as you rightly mentioned). No one can remove that form anybody,it makes you live lively and heathly as ever.

i love to smile! i think smiling is good. i don't understand why there are people who don't like to smile? i frequently run into ppl who doesn't smile. last time i was working in this small company, people don't seem to smile at each other and i don't understand why? although we might not be in the same department, but we are office mates and bump into each other almost every day yet we don't smile at each other. and some, we are in the same department but we still don't smile. each time i try to smile at people, but the only thing i get is a sour face. if we don't smile at people, they'll make a conclusion that we're arrogant or something. but if we smile at them, they can't even smile back. weird...T_T

Too much sorrow in their lives and they have maybe forgotten how. Some of them might just need a ear or someone to let them vent. Pent up frustration can change the happiest person into a real sour face. Just keep smilin' kevsgirlalways. Just be a good example.

I want to be happy by myself all the time and I want to make others happy too. So I used to laugh enough and make others laugh too. Among friends and in the family I take everything, in fact even serious issues, lightly and turn it to a joke, though I know its seriousness and know how to solve out them. I would do that later. Being happy means being cool to everything. Thank you for asking, Terilee.

Thank you for responding sreevasu. I'm smiling that there are so many wonderful people out there who know what it means to be happy - and smile. Who knows? We might be the only 'happy' they see all day long.

Yes. I do smile or laugh alot. in fact, I always try to be happy and make people around me smile also by telling them jokes. Infact smile or laugh is very impt in your everyday lives cos u wun feel so stress when doing your job. At the same time, smiling will relive ur pressure and hence will reduce the chances of getting high blood pressure and stroke and heart diseases. It has been proven that smiling or laughter is the besr medicine u can hv

I think it's important to smile and lift people's spirits as much as we can. If we are the only person they see that gives them some kind of good feeling, then we have done a good thing. Keep smiling Fengshui. Thanks for your response.

Nah, I don't really smile with strangers. I only smile at them if they were the one who smiles at me first. I am a shy person and I don't get to be with a lot of people so I just try to avoid looking and smiling at them. I don't also laugh a lot because I just have so many things in my mind that I already forget to laugh... But thanks for sharing your thoughts about smiling a lot...
