What is important?

To me it is understanding and acceptability. A person with sense of humor can be considered good in understanding. Love reigns in understanding. Those who with a spark and drive will go well with me. Otherwise I have to try hard to adjust, though I am adjustable. lol. Thank you for asking.

Everthing like personality, sense of humour, intelligence etc. is important when one is looking for a mate. But Alas! you do not get all the qualities in one person. (Exceptions are always there). You will have to comprise with his/her negative qualities also, although everyone desires that his/her partner should have only positive qualities.

I look for a well balanced combination of all: looks, personality, sense of humor, intelligence plus a similiar religious belief - this most important of all for me. LOL maybe that's why I'm still single after 16 years - I do tend to be particular after what I've experienced in the past.

I'm not looking now but if I were the most important value in a mate would be their spiritual qualities. I would have to know what he believed in spiritually before I became interested. I've always said, "If I ever have to do this again, the man will have a seriously detailed questionaire to fill out before I will even go out with him." Thank God that part of my life is over and done with. And to answer your question more to the point, a sense of humor, intelligence and good looks are always a plus.

The first thing that attracts me is looks, I only say that because that is true for everyone something on that person has to attract me, but even so I need him to have intelligences and a great sense of humor I guess you can say all three... because one with out the other will not do

It's dependent on What do you want in life?

Well you can differ from my opinion but i think personality comprises of the things you mentioned seperately and certainly looks are also the part of someone's personality but as no one is perfect so one cant have all the good qualities in his/her personality but i do look for politeness and loyalty in a person's nature and i guess if someone finds these two qualities will be enough to live forever with that person.

Hi billionaire5, for me, what is important is his personality, sense of humor and intelligence. But if he doesnt possess all of the above, it really doesnt matter to me because nobody is perfect and so do I.

The personality, pleasant smell and intelligence are the qualities I'm looking for. The physical handsome face or the big muscle types doesn't matter to me.

All of the above i should consider.maybe personality is more important. what about you , you haven't told us your choose.hehe:)
