I tried advertising my helium articles on surf sites and was sent an email from helium informing me that they have observed artificial traffic. Further said, if this continues they will terminate my account. I worked very hard on my articles and was hoping to gain more from them so the reason for advertising such. Any way I cannot afford for them to do this so I removed all from the surf sites. The truth is that I did not read all of the terms so did not know the ads. were not allowed. Do you know of any legal way to boost my earnings at helium other than writing of course?

Use a signature in your email. Go to forums that are on the same topic as your article and talk about it. (Careful, some forums don't like spam, so be friendly about it.) Any place you have a profile or are able to otherwise, make sure your profile page is linked to from it. Write for different places (for free if you have to) and link to your Helium articles whenever it's allowed.

Write articles in other places like other sites that helped promote your article and link helium articles to it. You can also use helium button. Below every page or my helium page, there is a link called "Link to Helium". Go to that page, choose the button and get the HTML which you can use in blogs and other personal pages.

I wish I knew the answer to this too. I don't have a clue. I would like to be able to market both my articles on Helium and Associated Content. You can link them on here and hope to get a few readers, particularly if you swap titles (like in a recent discussion on Helium). I hope that someone can enlighten us. It is very frustrating trying to get people to read stuff. Everyone is too busy writing their own articles to read someone else's. They say to create a blog and link it to that, but I think there are already a lot of blogs out there no one reads, so how would this make it any different? Just asking, not trying to put down blogs in any way. I am stuck when it comes to this question.
