Keeping an open mind?

I have religous beliefs to a point. I don't side with any one religion. I believe there is a little truth in all religions of the world. My question is. What if God sent an angel to Earth to warn us of our future or the lack there of? Would we dismiss this as a hoax? Would we embrace it and take warning?

God has already sent, not only Angels, but prophets throughout the ages. Some listened, some didn't, just like today. Then He sent His Son, Jesus... some listened, some didn't...

Yeah but, we really don't have proof that all that happend. Other than what we read, because all those witnesses are all gone now. If God sent an angel in this time, would it be the same as you stated "some listened, some didn't..."? Thank you for responding!

"If God sent an angel in this time, would it be the same as you stated "some listened, some didn't..."? " Yes, it would be the same... that's my point exactly. Some will hear; some won't, no matter who or what He sends.

I have the same feeling you do about religion. I would probably miss the warning altogether and not see it for what it is. I seem not listen to my own intuition at times.

My thoughts are different. I don't believe in an religion, as I feel they all are set out by man, man's rules how to worship God and behave. On the other hand, I believe in faith, a one on one relationship to the Holy Spirit. And being a tuned to Him and following only Him. If an angel came to the world to warn us of our future, most people still would not believe. It is in trust, not in seeing proof.

It is too bad that the signs would be dismissed that way. It is almost like we could be doomed. Because not everyone would be on the same page. Thankyou! Peace, Totty

I have gone through all the above responses, what I beleive is that the angels are always there to warn us and they do warn us in different ways e.g. dejavus, dreams etc. It is upto us that we consider those things as warnings or just visions. As an individual I think that I will take the warning seriously but on the whole most of us will deny what ever he will tell us.

I certainly would not dismiss it as a hoax if there was credible evidence that it was indeed a message from God.

Well, first off I think the press and government would do there best to dismiss it as a hoax. Because of people wanting to believe what their government tells them most would just take as a hoax. I think most would require some kind of proof that this truely was an angel of God. I cant honestly say how I would react but I hope I would have the forsight to believe whats being said. The Lord said that you will now who the angel belongs to by the message it carries. So if it was nt saying anything contrary to what I believe, it must come from God. Like I said, I hope I would follow, but you dont know until it actualy happens. Take care, Terry

First I would want to be sure the angle is from God. In his word He tells of false prophets. He tells us they will be in the dessert so not to go there to hear them. We can know a false prophet by what he is saying. If we are studying the bible and the angle is saying something different from God’s word we will know it and know enough to listen or ignore this angle.

Well I would say some would want to catch them for studying and disecting them. Some would worship them as gods. Some would question if it wasnt a ploy by the devil. Some would jump out of the window and kill themselves rather than face the end. Some would theorise that it was mass hysteria. Some would say it was a government plot to control the masses for political gain. Some might just actually believe...lol. Sorry its getting late and my corny humor is seeping out.

Not corny, you made a point. There are lots of things people would do. Most of all, I think people would freak out. Thanx!

I agree to what other people say here. Some will listen, some will not.
