Planning for your old age's life

When we are old, we will become less and less active in life. We no longer have the strength or stamina to do things that we like to do. If we became sick, we will spend our life going in or out of the hospital. Sometimes bedridden or confined to a wheeled chair. Do you plan ahead what you are going to do for the rest of your remaining years? What age is too old for you?

I am aware of the forthcoming old age and the inconveniences that it may bring. However am not planning anything to make old age life comfortable. During my youthful ages I did not plan anything for my retired life. Now I am retired and going ahead smoothly. Who knows how long will I live? Any age at which I fall incapable of moving myself and helping myself can be considered old age. I rely upon God for my protection. No special plans. Thank you ellie.

I'm sorry to say I don't plan. At least I have a 401K now :) I don't really have an age that I think is too old, because I have seen very active 90 year olds and I have seen inactive 50 years olds. I think the key is to keep your mind and body occupied.

I have no clue what I am going to do when I am old for my remaining years. As I now worry and think about how my kids are being raised and how they will turn out as adults. After they are grown than I worry more about me. But until them it is all about my kids. In my opinion, no age is to old. WE all can learn something from an old person. If we would take the time to sit down and listen to them.

Hi seabreeze, I am sorry if my discussion have some dreariness in it. Old people are more or less live in a dreary life. But it shouldnt be that way if we really have a good planning when our time comes. Of course we cant really guarantee what we plan for our old age will be exactly as planned. But at least we will be more positive when we embark into our old life. Thanks for your response.
