Hi there, it is not only cleansing your face that you need to do to improve it. You need to detox your whole body. I mean you should clean from inside and then outside. Also you need to know what type of skin you have and choose the right facial cleansing for yourself. I can give me info if you need further helps. All the best!

choose facial cleanser which 100% free of colouring, fragrance, preservatives, animal products and mineral old. If your skin is sensitive skin, these type of cleanser should be best for you.

Toothpaste - I know it sounds silly; but, it works. Just before going to bed; put a light coat of plain white toothpaste on them. In the morning, wash it off and repeat that night. Usually, they don't last more than 2 - 3 days and if you put toothpaste on when they are just starting to form they are gone the very next day. Just don't put it on real thick or more than once a day or toothpaste can "burn" the skin and make a small scar; because, toothpaste is a lot stronger than you would think. This helped me get through high school back before we had all the fancy acne treatments that are available today and it costs a lot less.

Yeah, it does sound silly. But guess what, I think it's worth a shot. I'll just have to trust your words on this one.. *wink*

its going to sound crazy, but if you exfoliate, then use a mud type mask, followed by a moisturizer, it will drawn all the impurities to the surface. You will have major pimples for about a week, worse than before, but then they should clear right up, as long as you take good care of your skin, don't wear foundation, and make sure you get every bit of make up off every night before bed.

Perhaps if they are really bad you should go see a dermatologist that can give your prescription creams for pimples. I had the worst acne a few years ago when I was getting my Masters (I was getting them from the stress) they were so big they looked like bruises! My mother was worried they would scar my face so she took me to a dermatologist. He gave me some antibiotics for the the pimples and then we tried birth control (some birth control pills help with acne) I haven't had any problem with the pills and it has kept my pimples in check. So I would say see a doctor if the over the counter stuff is not working for you.

As Aurone above said, doctor's can prescribe antibiotics and stronger creams to help. The reason birth control pills seem to help is they regulate your hormone cycle - which is often the real culprit of pimples, not cleaning. Sometimes too many products used to rid the face of pimples just strips your skin of its natural oils, whose intention is to protect your face from dirt and bacteria. Antibiotics should only be used as a last resort if you get very large pimples that have become unmanageable. Hopefully as you grow older the problem will fade, adult acne is much more likely to leave scarring (especially if you pick them!) than teenage acne. Most important, drink a lot of water and eat a healthy diet - beauty starts in the digestive tract! Eating a lot of green leafy veggies (both fresh and lightly cooked) will go a long way toward clearing up your skin as well as providing a plethora of other health benefits. When my acne became really bad in my early 20s I started drinking green juice and eating really healthy after a 2-month stint with antibiotics to clear the initial issues, have not had a problem since then. And mine was really bad, became worse and worse over the course of two years after having gotten through my teens with no acne issues.
