I guess I should pay attention to where I'm walking! Today I opened my back door to go outside and was not looking in the direction I was walking. I walked right into a spider web!! ICK!! I have felt creepy ever since. Have you ever walked into something cause you weren't paying attention to where you were going?

I have to say that I hate spiders and webs so I would be majorly freaked out if this happened to me. I recently went to the eye doctor and had to get bifocal. I have no problem wearing glasses to help me see far away but my eyes are so bad that when they fix it so I can see far away my upclose vision is off. So they gave me bifocals to help with the problem. I put them on and have a problem looking out the right part of the lens. I have a tendency to look out the ready part to try and walk and usually walk into a wall of trip over something. I have decided that bifocals are not for me. I traded my bifocal glasses in for a pair of contacts and little granny glasses for reading.

I just got new contact also. Not sure if I like them or not. Close up reading is fine but the distance is a little blurry, so I might go back to the dr. She told me the next step is bifocal contacts or contacts where I would have to get reading glasses. Ugh.

My husband has walked through the screened door that was on our sliding glass door. He popped the screen right off the track.

Yes, I have walked into a few spider-webs, but they are hard to see. Sometimes I have even had the spider crawling about in my hair for a while.. but they are OK in the UK - no poisonous ones :-)

Well other then the spider web thing cause I think everybody does that now and again. No I have not. But my kids so it all the time. Like for example my 9 year old likes to read and she will walk down the street and read. One day she was doing this and walked right into a phone poll.

I walk into everything even when I am paying attention. I fell down a 6 feet hole we dug not even 15 minutes prior. I used to get bugged all the time by the crews I worked with that the barricades where for me and not the motorists.

I remember when I was a kid running behind my aunts camp (we were playing tag or something) and I was running with my mouth open and a spider went down my throat.. a small one it seemed, but gross nonetheless!

Oh how many times have I done the similar thing. Let me count. No let's not it's too many. I have been walking talking to friends then get to the doorway only to run face first into it. I have walked out my back door then forgotten the steps are there and falled down those 3 steps. I won't go on. It's too embarassing. Hahahaha!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Of course I have- Yuk a spider web- how gross! A couple of weeks ago at my best friends house- her son was having a birthday party- It was outdoors- pool and some big falls water toy- I went out in the backyard hundreds of times playing with all the kids and helping in one way or another- I turned quick 3 times and rang onto the back porch to grab something and ran right into this sign (it was held up by fishing line) the first time across my forehead- OUCH! The second across my forehead and the 3rd across my forehead- LOL--- For some reason I could not remember it was there and I was in such a hurry- finally after the 3rd time and many laughs- She cut it down- I’m so used to it not being there- LOL

Spider webs aren't so bad....apart from that feeling of things crawling on you afterwards. Well I said they are not that bad....because you can get them of of you.....but a big lump on your forhead is a bit harder to get rid of. I used to work on a Hog farm and in we had heaters in the hallways and the farm I normaly worked at....that wasn't a problem because the heater was well out of the way. Than they transfered me to another site and in one of the hallways they had this really low hanging heater. It was set of to one side a bit and most everyboidy was used to it being there except for me.So here I am walking and counting some Sow cards and the next thing I know....smack....I'm sitting flat on my butt.I had walked right into that heater and just about knocked myself out.I ended up with a big lump on my forhead....but let me tell you....that was the first and the last time I walked through that hallway without looking where I was going.

LOL....yeah the pain of everybody making fun of me.I think the embarrassment hurt more than the actual thump in the forhead.

I trip and fall frequently or sprain my ankle. I was walking the dog and she took off after a bird, my foot went down into a "hole" and I sprained my ankle & wrist just 2 days ago. I hate the spider web feel. It seems like you can never get it off !!!

Too many times I have experienced the same thing by walking into cobwebs. One of the worst experience was I just walked into elephant dung when I was making my way home thinking of my new car.It took several hours to get rid off that pungent smell of elephant dung

Yes, I have walked into a spider web also. I am among those who have arachnophobia. I can get close enough to kill them but I sure don't like it. I grew up on a farm where we had all kinds of spiders in our barn. I had to walk though an alley in our barn with many spiders overhead every day. None of them ever jumped on me, or bit me. So I don't know why I'm sacred of them. It doesn't matter if they are poisonous or not, I am scared of them. Walking into a spider web doesn't hurt near as much as when I walked into a pole many years ago. But I'll still take the pole over the spider web.

That is serious. Sometimes with spider webs it does not matter if you were paying attention or not, you may still walk into them because of how nearly invisible they look. But it actually helps if you were paying attention and not to bump into some thing that is harder than a spider's web.
