Does it mean that you can do anything you want anytime you want it? I believe that freedom is doing the right thing. It is reaching that level of discipline to be able to do the right thing which is asked of us by our maker. What is your freedom?

i believe we are all controlled in a major way, we think we have freedom, but only so much as what society allows us to have. we're brainwashed to believing we are free! i really love the book 'How to be Free' by Tom Hodgkinson and would recommend it for people wanting to live simply, as life is way too short....

Freedom means a lot to me. When no one is controlling you, it is freedom. When you're debt free, its freedom and when the children have completed their university, it is the greatest freedom I've achieved.

You're right, freedom doesn't mean doing whatever you want, whenever you want to do it. Freedom means that you have the ability to make choices for yourself, and the capacity to fail or succeed. Without the freedom to fail, there is no freedom to succeed. Freedom to choose doesn't mean freedom from the benefits and consequences of our choices though.
