To all my friends old and new!!! I'm still sick. ....does your meds work?

It sounds to me as though the meds you've been prescribed are not right for you, Snow. I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so bad, but hope you will be able to sort it out in some way. I did have a bad prescription once, which affected my legs and I'm still having problems now, which is why I turn to herbal remedies these days, rather than go to the doctor. You might be able to quell the sickness feeling by chewing a little fresh mint, or brewing a mint tea. I hope you get it sorted soon, anyway my friend. You don't want to have to return to Arizona in that state and I know how much you've been looking forward to going back. Brightest Blessings. You're in my prayers as requested. Get well soon. x

What is wrong and what medications are you taking? We might have some insight into side effecrts or can make some suggestions on what to do or alternative meds you can talk to your doctro about. WOuldn't it be better to go somewhere other then the emergency room? You might do better in a regular doctors office.

hey mssnow I am so sorry to hear you are still sick. I have had meds not work the first time round and had to get a second dose of them. I am sure you will feel more like yourself in no time. Some times your body takes a while to get used to the stuff, other times you just simply may be allergic. I am allergic to penicillin believe it or not the first time I took it I came out in a nasty blotchy rash all over my body, ewwwww! So I can't use it. Hugs x

Sorry to hear you are still sick. I do hope you can get your health back by the time you leave for Arizona. I was just wondering if perhaps you have gotten sick at this particular time for some reason related to your move. Are you still having second thoughts about the move?

Oh no- I was hoping that you were feeling better- especially with no health insurance- I have gotten medicine that didn't work- I just went back to the doctors and they prescribed something different and it worked- I think medicine works for some and not others- They might just tell you to let it take time to work- I hate the thought of you going again and another hospital bill--- but you have to get healthy for your trip!

Oh dear you're still not feeling well :( Another trip to the ER for you.I am praying for you to get better soon. About the meds ugh I had one that I took and I got so HIGH I'm serious I was in the hospital amd my daughter was with me she said I was so funny but I don't remember anything much except the nurse was going to give me a shot to calm me down and she said for me to roll over and I said you roll over LOL I remember that part. SOme med do work but it's really hard to find the right one or if you have a side effect. Take care my friend and get better soon because Arizona is waiting for you. :)

Oh princess, you are sick? I told you not to eat so many lizards raw, you just won't listen! I said you need to at least roast it in a fire AFTER scrubbing the skin clean. But you just won't listen. See? Now you are sick.:P So off you go to get more medicine. Remember to take them, drink more water and have lotsa rest. You have a good rest. :PP

Well I don't know what kind of meds you are taking, but if it's antibiotics, sometimes the will not do the job the first time around and you need to get more. I refuse to take prescription antibiotics because I can't tolerate how they mess up my digestive track. I use natural antibiotics instead which work a lot better and don't have the bad side effects you get with the prescription stuff. What I use is wild oregano oil. Note, this is not the same oregano that you would use in cooking. 4-6 drops of that a couple of times a day and I'm good as new within a few days. If you have any holistic herbal shops near you, you can pick some up to try it. I recommend getting it in liquid form and putting it into empty pill capsules to take it. The reason for this is that the liquid will absorb into your system better, but it will feel like your mouth is on fire if you try to take it straight, so it's much easier to put it in a pill capsule.

Snow I am so sorry that you are not well and please do go back to the Doctor as you might be showing a reaction to the Tablets I have had this many a time and they had to change my Med that I take until they found the right one for me and that is my regular Meds

I'm in that situation right now. I had been seeing an ear, nose, and throat doctor for a condition called Meniere's disease, and he had given me medicine to try to stop my vertigo. The vertigo usually only happens once in a while, but for the past two weeks it has been constant and I have been unable to work. I was really counting on the medicines, and they didn't help. Then we talked about another therapy, only to find that my insurance doesn't cover it, and I can't afford to buy the multiple thousand dollar machine on my own. So now I'm back to square one, still spinning, and am going back to see my regular doctor to see if she has any ideas. The ear-nose-throat doctor wants me to go out of a town to see an even more specialized doctor, but I don't have transportation to go, so it's a major issue for me. I'm really hoping my regular doctor will have some better ideas, or at least be willing to try something else! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and sending healing energy your way! I hope that they figure out something that helps you this time!

Yes, blessings from your friends and strangers are the best toasts to good health. At the same time, hope you take good care of your health. There are times when I see the doctor, the medicine does not work and I need to go back to the doctor again. However, the third time, it would be to another doctor. I will not go back to the doctor more than twice.

I am sorry you are still sick sweetheart! I hope you have got new medication that is effective now - I hate to think of you being ill all this time! I have a condition called HPylori which is treated with a triple medication approach - I have had this twice and both times it has made me sick and not worked against the condition - my dr has now decided to keep me on medication to treat the symptoms instead of trying to eradicate it for the time being! Please let me know how you are doing sis! xxx
