I must share this with you about my anniversary yesterday

Yesterday, my husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary. A lot of you know the big financial problems we went through. Anyway, I wanted to tell you how sweet he is. He saved his lunch money up, and bought me white roses and a gorgeous large card. What he wrote inside, touched me deeply. I was so surprised. He has always been a wonderful thoughtful man. But, all that we have gone through the past few months, I really didn't expect a thing. To be together was more than enough of a gift for me. We went out for lunch ( had to splurge a tiny bit) and then came home and went down memory lane together. We looked at all his photo slides from all the years of our vacations on the big screen for hours. It was so great being together, well at our age, memory in tact, and watching those photo's. The only downer was looking at how young we were. Dang, the years went by fast. Hehehhe, but we are alive and together. I wanted to share my good news with you. Love ya, M&M

I sure wouldn't mind spending a day that way. They say revisiting good memories makes a marriage stronger. Even after thirty years. We have not heard much about how things are going for you guys. I know the job your husband found was not the ideal, and also that being behind awhile takes a long time to catch up. I have seen anniversary celebrations from both you and one other person today. I think it is great. He was certainly planning ahead this year. Great wishes and then many more.

All is good now, thanks. He is set in a very good job, and is very happy. I just wish at 70, he did not have to work. But, that's life.

Well, I am really happy for you both and thanks for sharing this. I wish someday that can happen to me and my husband. That was so sweet of him to buy you all those gifts. What a sweetheart!!! Someday I want my husband to be that way too.

That was a sweet and thoughtful thing for him to do. I love white roses. I don't think seeing how young yu were should have been a downer, I think it should have reminded you of how much you hae come through, and that you are still together.

Happy 30th Anniversary to you and our hubby. Wow 30 years and still growing. It is strange when you look back fro mall those years that you and your hubby shared and the time has gone by so fast and it does seem like yesterday. I will have my anniversary in August 7 we will be together 25 years but it seems like yesterday then all of sunden here comes a baby lol.I only have one daughter so that's good enough. Cheers to you and your hubby for 30 years of marriage. I know marriage is a hard work and there's some ups and downs but we managed to solve the problems together as I am sure you did too.! What a wonderful story :) Congratulations on your 30 years, and all the best for the next 30! Your husband sounds like a wonderful man, he clearly loves you very much. It's so wonderful to hear of 2 people who are still so happy and in love after all those years.
My husband and I have been dating for 15 years, and we have been married for 7. I hope that in 23 years time, we can celebrate our own 30th anniversary with as much love as you did :)
