I just deleted myself from cafemom. I tell you I'm so angry I could spit fire and call it ice. For the life of me I'll never understand how some people can be so evil. Some of my friends there went behind my back and tried to cause trouble between me and my daughter. I just don't understand why. I thought if that is the way they want to be then I just don't need to be there for them to kick around.
What would you do in my place? I don't like fighting, it isn't fun. Please cheer me up.

You did the right thing. People online can be really evil. most of the times they would never act like that in person, but because of the fact that they are hidden behind a computerscreen they get the guts to act out.
Just stay here at Mylot instead =)

Totally agree. There are some real malicious ppl out there who get off on trying to upset ppl when they hid behind a computer screen.
I really like the end of Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back where they go around calling on these type of ppl and 'sort them out'.

that wasn't funny at all!! you did the right thing sweetie. why do you have to care, specially when it concerns you and your daughter!! you will lose nothing, i think, its the right move , just the right time.

I would do exactly what you did.Those "friends " were not real friends. The best way to cheer up is to go out or have a girls night in with your real friends.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I try not to have people in my life like that. Because I just do not have the time or the energy for it and then I end up spending more time on trying to console myself. So I would have done the same thing. Life is too short to clutter up one's life with this type of meaningless part time.

i cant believe people would do such a thing, actually yes i would, people have tried doing that to my family, you did the right thing, stay away from them, move on, they are just jealous. you dont need rubbish like that going on in your life.

If you are not one for that kind of stuff, I think you did the right thing. No since in putting up with that when there are so many other places you can come to like here. Mylot won't put up with them doing that to you here.

Cheer up, IL2Knit. Fighting isn't fun at all. How come we have such people doing these evil things to cause trouble between you and your daughter. It is wise for you to do so, but how can you delete yourself from cafemom once we have got a username on the website? I am concerned about that as well.

Yea I know I hate to fight. To get deleted I had to ask cafemom to do it. But first I went around and deleted my pictures and personal info. That way I could be sure that as much was gone as I could. I really don't know if a person could get any of my stuff by typeing in my name or not. I hope not.
I'm not going to let them get me down again. Thanks :)

I think you did the right thing. It's too bad that some people like causing trouble for others, but that's just the way some are. No need in putting yourself through that. Take care.

You did the right thing, being a member of sites that allow things like that just aren't worth it. It's always best to cut off the negative before they cause even bigger problems. You're a great person, don't let anyone get you down!

Just think, that is one less thing that is present to complicate your life! Most of us need to take steps to simplify our lives. You have! Life is too short to spend it being tied up with complicating issues. Consider the freedom you now have...one less worry! Fill that void with something that is special for you...that will bring joy!

Congrats on not letting the control freaks get to you any more. I recently quit Usenet for the same reason -- the control freaks being exceptionally nasty.
Yay for you for breaking away. You'll feel better not having to deal with it any more.
