Do you look old or young for your age?

Its is very obvious that all of us at a certain period in our life, paticularly during adolescence; we are often been told that we look much older than than what we actually are.However after adolescence we are often told the other way round. So in my opinion this is problem faced by every individuals at a certain time in life especially at this transitional period.

i actually look younger than my age...a lot of people dont think that i am over 40, plus it helps if you act younger than you are...i have younger kids and a young view on life, so that helps alot too!!

I'll be 40 in a couple of months and people are usually right on when guessing my age. My wife on the other hand is 45 and people always think she is in her early thirties...they all think I'm older than here....dang, LOL

I have always been told that I look young for my age...I hope it is true...lol. Im in my 30's now and I still get it, so I suppose Im lucky or they are lying..

There are times people still mistook me for a college student that i still get a discount in bus ride. Usually when i asked them to guess how old i am their answer is mostly 3 years younger than my real age. So i guess i look young. Maybe, because my personality is not too serious nor too clumsy. I am still childlike even if i am already 26. You can judge by my picture if i look younger or older than my age.

i receive many compliments that i look younger than my age! i've been working for almost 5 years already and there are some people who think that i'm still in high school, especially when i'm wearing really casual clothes :P i guess it's not too bad, not looking your age lol..i try to take care of my skin the best i can ^__^

I think I look about right, not older or younger, but the little bit of gray hair I have may make me look older. I don't really have that many wrinkles, but I am getting those darn dark circles on my eyes lids like my mother and grandmother had. I think in a year or so, they will increase how old I look :o(

I have people telling me that I look younger than my age. I am now 34 and the avatar is my current pic. What do you think? My brother also tells me that I look younger than my other friends who have the same age as mine. As to me, I feel I am like what I am. I don't know whether I look younger or older because I look into the mirror everyday. Only people can tell me their opinion. Either way, I am grateful living in this world. God bless you, my friend.

I look younger than my age. It was not much of a problem when I was a child, because my mother could pass me off as pre school when I was six years old, but it came problem when I got older. Imagine being in your fifties and sixties and having your husband think you are immature because you do not look even remotely middle aged.

Yah..In this century, it is very difficult to assess the age with appearance. People above 50s try to appear as 30 by hair dying, dressing, and using cosmotics. Though they try to appear, young, the facial and physical differences will definitily expose that they are over aged. Unfortunately the use of different shampoos, youth at the age of 20 got their hair white.It also depends upon the food habits. People who are young becoming robust by eating chocolates and sweets and seems to be aged more than their actual age. I saw the tribals who appears to be young than their actual age. I feel that their traditional food, and working habits make them so. I know a tribal man who is aged about 8o who still attend the cultivation works and appears to be young.His hair is still black. His wife seems to be old than him so itis proactically difficult to assessthe age through appearance. I am now about 60 but seems to aged about 50 I am still active in general and routine works .

I should say, I look much younger than my age. I got married a year ago and still my managers at the office dont believe that I got married. They say, I look too young to get married . But I have a friend who is just 3 months elder than me, but he looks to be very much older that me. He is not yet married, but many will think that he should have atleast two kids. ;)

Alot of people tell me that I look young for my age. I dunno. Sometimes I see it sometimes I don't.

I have always been told I looked young for my age. I am 40 years old and every people can not believe I am actually that age. I have to prove it by showing them ID. When I turned 21 I constantly got carded. Then when I got to my thirties I still got carded. I love it. I don't feel 40, so I am glad that I do not look it either.

I was the same as you when I was a teenager and with make up on I could easily pass for 18 or 19 when I was only about 13 or 14. People are sometimes surprised when I tell them how old I am but I think that maybe has more to do with my personality and the way I behave rather than my physical appearance. Personally I think I just look as if I'm in my mid-forties which is fine because that's how old I am!

I think I look about right for my age. I am 35. But I am starting to see alot of white hair in my hair. I get my hair highlighted and everytime I see a white hair I pull it and my husband teases me. My mothers hair is all white, I just don't want it. 35 is young to be seeing all these white hairs. But then again, my hair is really thick ane I have alot of it.

I look young for my age. Some people who just knew me can't believe that I'm already 23. I'll be turning 24 this October. I am very natural in everything I do. I rarely wear makeup. I always try to get some sleep everytime I can. I always drink lots of water. I also eat healthy food.

When I was a teen people used to say I look older than my age. That was probably because I was a tall kid. Now I think I look my age and like you said, I don't get too many comments about it anymore.

hi i am 25 years old to my knowledge i look young in this age. i think generally people of this age looks young so obviously i look young . the young is between 20-30 so i look young

i'm only 18 right now and i usually get comments that i look young for my age; like my girlfriends brother, who is 16, said that i looked like i was just around his batch. And then, when i was in this one class, we were given an attitude and study habits test and then the facilitator didn't give me an answer sheet and i had to ask for one later on. When i passed my paper, the facilitator told me that she thought that i was just a kid and was just there to sit-in and observe the class @_@ it's really annoying...
