I have the habit of skipping breakfast. My wife as of late, has been secretly observing my habit. Shen is now making it a point about the two of us having breakfast together every morning even when I tend to be late in waking up, just so she can be sure I'm taking breakfast. Is breakfast that important? How about you, do you skip or dont you skip beakfast ?

Hi there. I have been known to skip breakfast. Skipping breakfast is quiet easy to do, especially when your in a hurry to do something else, or when you have to be somewhere. When this happens with me, I often grab something later on that morning...

Well that would be good if you can grab something to eat as your breakfast. Nardz13, nice to hear from you.

Hi!But ofcourse, it is a MUST to have your Breakfast.Do you know how BREAKFAST got its name?Break Fast---the long hours of Night SLeep without eating anything.Initially, skipping breakfast may help in shedding your weight but the health issues that may occur later could be quite hazardous.Atleast something light is a MUST.Your wife is wise & smart enough to make you have your breakfast & prevent Acidity & other issues.Do have your breakfast everyday. thanks, www.creatingcolourfulfuture.com

I used to skip breakfast when I was younger, but now I try not to forget taking breakfast. I usually take cornflakes with soy milk, and that is enough for me. yes, breakfast is very important because it is the food we take to start a day. Without breakfast, we would be less energetic to do work and make us easily tired. Before this I often skipped breakfast and now I am having gastritis. After I eat breakfast regularly, I am seldom attacked with gastritis anymore.

I seldom will skip the breakfast. It's very easy to be hungry when I am working. And I have to wait until noon so that I can have my lunch. So it's not a pleasant feeling to be starving when you are working. Even if I don't have much time for breakfast, at least I will eat some biscuits.

As much as possible i eat breakfast. That is are one source of energy. But sometimes ,if i wake up late, i skipped it and go clean up myself in the bathroom, coz i don't have a time for it. From that moment i will let my breakfast be served at the office.

nope, most of the time i don't skip breakfast. ever sing i was young, my mom always asks me to eat something before i go to school. so now it's like a habit for me. i always make it a point to eat something, even if it's just a little bit..just something to fill up my stomach before i go out of the house. sometimes i go for breakfast with my colleagues and friends as well. breakfast is after all, the most important meal of the day :)

I never fail to have at least three main meals a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything else I can skip like snacks in between, coffee breaks, nightsnacks or supper as some people call it. I think it is good to take regular meals that are 5 or 6 hours apart. As for breakfast, my wife needs to eat at 6am on weekdays, because she is a teacher and has to go to work by 6.30am. So I usually wake up at 6am to have breakfast with her, even though it is early for me to eat at this time. But I am used to it already.

LoL. That's funny because I skip breakfast all the time even though I don't want to. Sometimes I'd just grab anything I see and run out the door. You're so lucky you have a wife who cares. I think it's rather romantic to eat breakfast with the one you love everyday!! I heard that breakfast is the most essential meal...but I still don't have time to just sit and take my time to eat you know? That would mean I have to reduce my sleeping time which I don't have very much. Between food and sleep...I'd choose sleep...in the morning at least.

yup..we have the same bad habit. In Fact i always skip it eventhough i always have time for it. I don't know i just cannot eat my breakfast and because it's a habit, i don't care if there's nothing for breakfast on my table. But the only thing i always do in the mornig is i always drink a glass of cold water and that's it. no bread or cereal or even rice. If i do my breakfast, i will feel that there's something with my stomach. Usually at about 10/11 in my office i will get hungry then i'll eat. maybe it's the time for me to get my breakfast.

nutea_anin, if I follow your early morning glass of cold water, I would then have a lose bowel movement. Maybe because I am not used to it. Thanks for sharing, my friend.

Yeah, I guess so. Breakfast on the run is indeed different from eating your regular breakfast without the hassle of time. Thanks for passing by.

before, i used to skip breakfast every morning because i'm running late for school. so when i get to school, i get really hungry and weak before lunch time came. i think that it affects our minds and actions. so, it's not really healthy to skip breakfast. i've read before that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. and it also helps those people who are going on a diet. if they eat breakfast, they won't get that much hungry before lunch time, so they won't be able to eat more food.

I almost always skip breakfast or have it pretty late, like 11 a.m. The exception is when we are on a road trip. Then I like a traditional breakfast before driving. Otherwise I just take water in the morning and maybe a few nuts or a little cheese.

Hi molusk. I don’t skip meals in the morning because I know it would be of great advantage if you’re going to eat your breakfast. When we eat, it gives us energy for the whole day, thus we can do our routine activities without getting tired easily. We can finish our work faster without hassle. Our health also will be in good hands. That’s it. Have a nice day and God speed!

yes i do have a routine of skippinf my breakfast specially when i got to get started early in the morning..a chocolate drink or a coffee is all i could be lucky to have on my busy day..for some time i got used of not eating breakfast every day.. yes for me breakfast is important..it is the day time that we tend to work more hard each day and that we get to be stressed with work so our body needs food to get enough energy to go on through the busy day..specially if we have tough job..

i think breakfast is really important. Or at least, thats what i hear from almost everywhere. It's supposed to be the most important meal of the day or something. Anyway, i don't usually eat breakfast. It's just so hard to get up early enough to have time to eat. It's not that i prefer not to eat breakfast, it's just that if i did, i would be late .
