Sneaky Seagull

Did you guys see the news article about the seagull that has been sneaking into the convenience store? It seems that everyday, he slips in, when he thinks no one is watching and steals a bag of chips. He's been doing it for quite some time now. Same store, same kind of chips. Once he gets outside he rips open the bag and shares the chips with all of his seagull friends. Do you have a funny animal story?

I like that Seagull since it exhibits more of the actions we as humans should employ. Not the stealing but the sharing. I once heard of a crow that adopted kitten. It would keep it from the street and they would play. The lady would put food out for the kitten and the crow would take bits and give it to the kitten. Not sure what eventually happen to them however, I hope it was all good.

That is the sweetest story! You'd better be careful telling me stuff. My friends around here all joke (seriously) that they have to be careful what they do or say around me or they'll end up the subject of a devotional. lol

Please send me a message and give me your e-mail address. I will add you to the list that gets the devotion each day. It's also a prayer chain, so if you need a prayer need lifted up, we'd be glad to do that too! We've developed into one big family.

I would think he must have been watching people go in and out the door and figured out how to get in while it was open. Animals are alot smarter than what most of us give them credit for!

This morning, Tyson (the 5 week old lab puppy) got right under Mike's feet. He kind of rolled him over, trying to keep from stepping on him. He wasn't hurt, but when Mike picked him up and started to pet him...he started this pitiful whining. It was the funniest thing!

I haven't read that story but my sister use to dress up our cat when she was little in her clothes and put him in her toy stroller. That cat would just lay right there like he was her baby. She was about 5 or 6 then. Poor cat.

oh how funny. We are fostering a new lab puppy. My niece was trying to put a doll's dress on it the other night, and he was having a fit!

Isabella is almost 3 and there is very little that she won't try. The child is fearless.

I knew that it made the news all across the US. I didn't realize that it had been seen internationally. How funny is that. I guess when it gets picked up on the news wire, that it goes all over. We have seen funny stories from Canada and France before.

California I think....It was all over the news the other night. Check the CNBC news website. I think there is a link for the video there. It's hysterical to watch him! He just walks right in like he owns the place.

No I didn't see this story. However, every time I go to my neighbor Atwoods, I see birds in there all the time. They are of course, after the bird seed they sell and it gets spilled. I do I have a funny animal story. My pic I use for my ID, is a picture of one of my cats. Her name is 'Puter, short for computer. (that's another story). Anyway, I also have a mixed Australian Shepherd dog that loved to play with 'Puter. She would let my dog drag her around by the back of the neck! That's how they played.

How cute! I am a dog lover. Not too crazy about cats, but only because I'm allergic, and if I spend too much time around them, I get sick :(

I'm not sure I'd even try. A couple of years ago, a friend of ours was attacked by a seagull on the beach, who just wanted her food! Their wings hurt when they hit you with them!
