I've seen quite a few magazines for the gay/lesbian/etc. community. In Fort Wayne, there's Reality. Also, I think The Onion is in Chicago...? I'd like to also find some on the arts community & just weird stuff ~ especially 'zines, etc. And stuff on talents, music, creative writing, etc. Does anyone know of some weird/off-the-wall types of magazines, newspapers, etc. that I could read & where to get them?

The science fiction community has many 'zines. The media commuinty has a lot set in the various universes like Star Trek (all kinds) Star Gate - you name the show pretty much. Here is a web site with a lot of them on it. http://www.agentwithstyle.com/

We have rented out a portion of our building to a book and newspaper store and we get all the magazines and newspapers free to read and return. Hence there is no expenditure on this account. But I read only newspaper and my wife reads women magazines in English and local languages.
