Your opinion on G-Strings? Men welcome to comment

Underwear - undies. yay
Australia

Peronsally I think they feel like a permanent wedgie and they annoy the hell outta me but they used to be the only option if you wanted to wear close fitting clothes without having a VPL (visible panty line). All I can say is thank goodness for seam-free underwear. I know that some women swear by G-strings and won't wear anything else, so what's your opinion on them? Men-do you find G-strings attractive or too 90's?NB: I believe G-strings are known as 'things' in America. In Australia thongs are what you wear on your feet.

Oh...I hate those things. SOOO uncomfortable. I call them butt floss. LOL!! I also read somewhere that you can be prone to yeast infection due to wearing G-strings. I wore them a couple of times to avoid VPL and gave up and go for seamless underwear, boy-cut and other styles that are more comfortable.

That would surprise, being prone to yeast infections if one werars G Strings. It is not healthy to have clothing so tightly fitted!!

I think that they are brilliant, you need to get the really thin ones, then you cannot feel a thing, I know that you can get thicker ones and they are the ones that feel like wedgies...

Wow didn't think I'd be getting g-string advice from a male. Or maybe that's not so suprising :-) I still think I'll pass though

Yes, we call them thongs here, but, at the same time, we also call the things that go on your feet thongs sometimes. Ah yes, crazy American English. Also known as "bad English." :) But as for wearing that style of underwear, I would much rather not. I have quite a few G-strings, which were acquired when I wore a lot of pants where they were the most appropriate underwear to choose. My fiance often asks why I never wear them, and I try to explain the "wedgie" feeling to him. I tell him, though, that he wouldn't understand unless he tried to wear one. He politely declines this experiment. :)

Thongs are a must for a very smooth fitting outfit! If you buy them to fit properly they are not uncomfortable and do not move. They are designed to fit rest on the around your hips.

I am not in Gstrings. Sure I like my undies to be pretty & attractive, & even sexy, but G Strings do not let me be comfortable in any way. I don't wear close fitting clothes anyway, well, not that close.

I agree with you, thongs are very uncomfortable. I only wear one when I have tight fitting clothes, like you said. Or on special occations, if you know what I mean (bedroom occations!). Although, my husband prefers boy cut panties better.

I have worn g-strings, but only on rare occasions. well, especially now that I am married. I wear them under dresses or skirts on dates with my husband. I used to wear them when I went out to clubs and bars - they are not comfortable for all day wear, but since I usually end up with a wedgie anyhow, I would wear them out at night when I was still single. It made me feel a bit more sexy. however, I don't like all the young girls wearing them with low rider pants so they stick out all overthe place. that looks really trashy to me, and I don't think girls realize how stupid they look with their underwear - no matter how skimpy, sticking out over their pants!
