Do you believe in reincarnation?

Do you believe in reincarnation? Last June 30 my husband and I went to Lake George, NY to celebrate my birthday. It was a bit odd for me because it's my first time to go to Lake George. And yet I feel like I have been there before, like I know the town on the palm of my hand. And even my husband is wondering how did you know these things when its my first time to be there. It was weird, but I must admit its a beautiful place to stroll around.
So how about you do you believe in reincarnation? Have you gone to a place for the first time and felt that you have been there before?

Reincarnation is a very interesting concept,and something that I would certainly consider. Even among Christians, there are many who believe in it. Some of the early fathers of the church believed in reincarnation, in fact it wasn't until the sixth century that it was declared to be a false teaching.There are many stories like yours, far too many in fact,not to put some credence in it. Have you ever read of Edgar Cayce? Check it out.

We all have free will to come and go as we please that doesnt make a soul "evil". We manefest what we want...act and think positively and u attract like energy....

I had a weird experience like that one time. I was traveling through Scotland with a friend, and we stayed at a bed & breakfast place in someone's home. In the hallway was a picture of her great grandfather, and I could have sworn I knew that guy. Of course I had never visited that town or house before. Eerie.

why cant i remember my past life?
whats better about this "higher level"?
how come the worlds population is increasing? are new souls being made or what?
i could prolly think of more..

As a Hindu (but not exactly a practising one) one of our beliefs is in reincarnation. I don't think about it too much but I do sort of believe that we come back again in a new body once we pass on, maybe as a human, maybe as a spider or fly or animal. I've had feelings of deja vu once in a while and at the time feel quite creeped out by it but tend not to dwell on it. Sometimes I've been to someone's home for the first time and feel that I recognise the roads even though I've not been there before, but I usually put it down to the fact that I might have been there as a kid with my parents and as I've always had a good memory for roads I put it down to that. Not exactly been in the situation that you describe and not sure how I would feel if I was in that situation - whether I'd feel happy or scared by it :)

Yes I believe in reincarnation. I believe we are here to learn lessons and each life teaches us things and we have to experience certain things in life to get to the next level. I also believe in karma. I believe some of us learn faster than others so for some people they may only need 3 lifetimes to get it right and other's might take 30. But who really knows right?
