I don't have similar problem as you mentioned. I think my articles written stay as the same as the amount I have written so far. Have you tried sending an email to their admin asking for the reason? And have your articles highlighted numbers reappeared again? I think they are still modifying the site and improving it and therefore errors occur here and there. Think you could report this bug to them to let them know the problem. Or even go in their forum and talk about it.

I will contact helium and find out. Just wanted to know if others had such a problem.

Helium deletes articles for two reasons, and two reasons only:
1. They are less than 100 words, which is the new minimum standard
2. They have been found to be plagiarised (copied) from somewhere else.
I'm guessing yours are less than 100 words, because otherwise they would have emailed you. Actually, they should have emailed you about the others as well, but it does sound as though they've slipped up and haven't notified everyone. Or maybe your email address is out of date?
It's likely they will start raising the minimum number of words soon, and may start deleting articles less than 150 words - and who knows where it will go from there, because the official recommended minimum length is actually 400 words.
so if you want your articles to stay on Helium (and to earn money) then you should go and leapfrog them and make them longer!

To my knowledge, I would have written short articles 1 year ago. I am not so sure. My e-mail is not out of date as I get newsletter and other mails every month. It could be some error also, I guess. I will write a mail and enquire in few days.

Marisawriter: Thanks for the information on length regarding Helium. I usually write enough, I think, but it's good to be aware of their standards. I haven't done any articles lately. I need to get back into the groove, but I appreciate your helpful information.

I have had one article deleted. I don't think i will leapfrog it, as I only have four leapfrogs. If they are moving toward a 400 word minimum, as someone else mentioned, then I'm going to have to go through and double check all of my articles - they'll need to be longer.

And what about poems? Poems of mine are sometimes less than 100 words...will those be deleted also?
