I don't read ebook because I have never come across one before. But I will like to have them. I read a discussion here about ebook. Some many people have said it that ebook can not be compaired to text books and that it is better to read a textbook than ebook. Thanks

No, I don't buy ebooks at all. I can't think of a reason that I would buy one, but I guesss "never say never." The reason is that I believe in traditional book publishing. I think publishing companies exist because they weed through all the masses of bad literature and they come up with books that are worth publishing and selling in a store or online. I buy books almost every week. And exchange them online when I am done reading them, so I am a big reader. I have yet to read a good self-published book or one that couldn't have been greatly improved by an editor's work on it. I guess ebooks would work for highly technical material that not many people would want to read. For everything else, I think it should go through the normal publishing channels to prove the material is worthy.

ofcourse you are right but some times you can find some books in internet (for free or low cost) which are scarce...for example i was searching for a book of learning fundamentals of a software (tizo) for 2 months and at last i couldn't fine , but now i download it in internet just in 15 min.

Ok, I am coming back to this discussion 5 months later...can you imagine what would happen if I downloaded a whole book? It could sit in my computer for years. LOL Anyway, you do make the point about technical material...or material that needs to come out quickly. There is a reason to have ebooks. I guess I was just thinking more in terms of reading for enjoyment. For learning new software, this could be the perfect answer.

e books are a great idea. I think it's nice to be able to carry a book with you, anywhere, as long as you have your computer. We carry our computers around anyway, so why not have e books? It makes perfect sense to me.

I like downloading ebooks. Especially the free ebooks which I get when I subscribe to a site or when I register to some sites which doesn't require any payments. However I dislike reading ebooks right from the monitor because it is hurtful to the eyes if done in a long period of time. So I printed them all and bind them nicely with plastic covers and keep them at my shelves. When I want to read them, I will just take them out from the shelf and read it anywhere I like. Usually I like reading on my bed, or infront of the television.

I have never read ebooks. Because you need to pay for that. I am only interested in reading news from the Internet and newspapers. I used to read a lot of books before I started to use the Internet, but not now. Anyway, happy reading, friend.
