I realize I will be among the minority on this one because I don't care a hoot about chocolate. But I do crave hard candy sometimes and I particulary love candy corn, and the silly little comversation hearts that you buy at Valentines. What is your favorite NON-chocolate candy?

I love gum drops. They come in a variety of flavors. The only flavor I don't really care for is licorice. Yucky.

Now that was a blonde moment if I ever saw one. Gum drops are soft! Doi. How about Werthers. They are great!

I don't care for the way they stick to my teeth. I cringe at how much sugar is being deposited on my teeth. My dentist profits from it of course.

LOL that's OK Gum drops count because it isn't Chocolate. I love those too and the box of candy called "Drops" we used to get when we were at the movies. Although my new dental work doesn't appreciate them near as much now as they did 40 yrs, ago at the drive-in LOL.

I have to say chocolate is my very very favorite but I also like jelly beans, especially jelly belly and gum drops, the fruit flavored kind. And at Easter time I still have to have my marshmallow peeps.

Then you have company,we can be weird together, I do the same thing. I love them when they are hard and stale and I have a cousin who does the same thing. We always laugh about it,in fact when I see them come out in the stores I always buy her a box.

Suscan I have to admit I love Peeps when they get hard and stale. I buy the packages and poke holes in them then let them sit out for several days before and then when they get slightly hard they are soooooooooo yummy. Yeah I am weird huh? LOL Thanks for your comments,

Don't remind me about "no chocolate allowed". I'll probably be having gastric bypass surgery at the end of next month and then I really won't be able to have chocolate! I think other than chocolate, my favorite candy would have to be the hard butterscotch candies, and sour gummy worms. Both of them gross my hubby out to no end, so I buy them just so he won't eat any of my candy. LOL

Well I do like chocolate matigal, but I absolutely love chewy toffee! The only thing is, I can't get it here in Australia (perhaps that's a good thing) lol! In the UK you can buy a slab of the stuff and break it into little squares. It has the yummiest taste. What we do get here in Oz is candy called chocolate eclairs - chewy toffee on the outside with a chocolate centre - they are pretty good and will have to suffice until I can get someone to send me the REAL THING from the UK!

Tell her to ask for Highland Toffee. It comes in a slab of about 10 squares, has a white wrapper with a long-horned cow or something on the wrapper, with green writing. In some places you can go into a sweetie shop and buy loose toffee, you buy it by the ounce and they break it up for you - it's just as good as the Highland Toffee! Good luck - I hope she brings some back for you.

Hmmm not familiar with the Vanilla Bullseye? I must look that one up? I think it would be like a caramel with a swirl of vanilla taffy maybe in it? I will check it out. Thanks for offering your comments. I hate Jolly Rancher but the other I would like to try.
