I am writing this post using voice recognition software. It is my first try with it and it is is making some mistakes but it is sure a lot quicker than typing. The program I am using shareware and I have a thirty day free trial. I've only been using it for about ten minutes and I am already hooked. If anyone is interested I will post the URL that I used to download it. As I said in a shareware and I have a thirty day free trial. is only cost ten dollars to register so it is definitely affordable. WOW, this is kind of fun

This is interesting. I hope this will be an easy software solution to enable us to control our computer, dictate emails and letters, and have the computer read documents back to us. I am trying to search for free trials for this software and try it myself.
Now I can tell my computer what I want it to do. Thanks for this new technology!

I have just downloaded a FREEWARE of a voice recognition software without paying anything. I have it installed in my PV and started training and practicing how it works. It's amazing because it makes our work here easier and lighter. But I feel it's difficult in the initial stages because we have to be familiar on the commands which are to be used in this program. Anyways, I am beginning to like this technology and hopefully can use it in any applications or programs available in my PC.

Hey that sounds nice. My fingers would be able to rest a while from typing. Cool!

Hi chiang_mai .. I tried earlier but my experience with speech recognition is not at all satisfactory. It produced a lot of mistakes. But your post is so neatly typed without mistakes and you achieved that great within 10 minutes. I was also looking for such a software as it would make my tasks easier. Thanks for the post.. many of us will get benefit from it.
Expecting more like this from you...
