I believe there are times when religion must be judged...religion is not just about private affairs, it touches upon politics, economics, social relationships and so on...it has far reaching consequences. And when implications of certain religious systems destroy the basic fabric of societal relationship we need to question the religion.

Religion is belief. It is a sacred belief and it differs from every person to person. So people should not anyway judge anything or anybody based on religion. If he/she does this he/she himself is doing something wrong with own religion. No religion is made to hurt the other religion. Every religion is aimed for the well being of mankind in some or different ways and different beliefs.

Religion is a deeply personal thing. The only true region is the one that is true for you. No one should judge someone of another religion. While, what you believe may be right for you it will not be right for someone else. Each one of us must find our own path to god.

I think people should be judged by their actions, not by their religion. I know many people who don't like my religion who couldn't find any fault with anything I actually do, and in fact have admired me for my actions until they found out my religion. So I think it's ridiculous to judge someone based on their religion. It's even more silly because of how very personal choosing your religion is. There are many things that can influence which religion you choose to follow, from your parents and culture to your personal identity and experiences. So there are any number of reasons why someone might choose to be in a different religion than you. I must admit that when you have consistently been abused by people claiming the same religious beliefs, it can be hard not to form a negative opinion of that religion. That's when you have to go out and do your own research about the actual beliefs, and find out whether what they are doing is really within those beliefs. And sometimes just meeting one kind person from a religious group can change your entire view on them. (This paragraph comes from my personal negative experience with Christianity when I was young.)

I believe that the purpose of religion is for fellowship, meaning people gathering under one belief. They are supposed to gather the flock, take care of its needs and lead them to worship God. They are not supposed to judge one religion over another as we are all sinners here. We are no better than the others. Only God can judge us.

i dont think people should judge anyone by their religion. I'm a Pagan (if you want to put labels) and I have many christian friends and family and I love them for believing so strongly in something and keeping up with it. i think that people should believe what they want to believe and do what they want to do (as long as they harm none doing it). It does say in the bible not to judge doesnt it?
