I would have loved a chance to experience "Phantom of the Opera." I don't even think it's playing anymore. What's the big production playing in New York right now? Anyhow, have you ever seen a Broadway play? Would you give it a thumbs up or down?

We absolutely did enjoy them...I started taking my son when he was 8 or 9. He is now 21 and loves going to plays. Some day he will find the right girl and make a great hubby.

I would love to see a "Christmas Carol" on Broadway. That just sounds awesome. And would you believe both my kids were taken by their Aunt to see Lion King. She didn't think I would like to go. Hmmmmm. No complaints though. I'm glad they got to experience it. They loved it, btw.

Oooh, my daughter is 19, she has an awesome voice and sang with the Biola University Choir. She is majoring in film and theater and someday she will make a wonderful wife. I'm just sayin'. She will probably slap me silly if she knew I posted this. Hehehehe. Oh, and she has a beautiful, slightly tanned, complexion, dark brown hair and green/hazel eyes. Okay, I'm done. Hehehee. Blessings my friend.

Nope never saw a broadway play. But, some day I would like to do things in that area. I have heard it is very fascinating. Different then seeing it on t.v. So maybe some day, when all is paid for. I have financial freedom, then I can start to live. LOL! Groetjes Margajoe.

Ach zeg, financial freedom. Wat is dat noiw weer? Hehehehee. Yeah, I totally understand. It's not cheap to see a play, I hear. What I'm curious about is how these actor/actresses can perform live, show after show, and hardly ever mess up. I haven't heard of any mess up. Their voices must be so trained it's unbelievable. Anyhow, you get a chance to experience it one day. Groetjes terug. :)

LOL! Good question. What is financial freedom? It is something I love to dream about. No more money problems. Do anything I feel like. Help who ever, when ever I want, without having to worry about going into depth. Nice fantasy, okay back to reality. LOL. I believe these actors and actrices live to play these plays. It is there life. They enjoy it so much, they live it. Fasinating. I do also believe these people work very hard. But, do they really sing live now a days? Is it not play back?LOL! Okay problably not. Take care. Groetjes.

Wow, the Titanic. I would go just to see the stage and props. Give details after you've seen the play. Should be an interesting review.

I haven't seen a Broadway play, as in New York. I saw Phanton of the Opera in Melbourne. It was absolutely outstanding. My 14 year old daughter loves the movie of Phantom of the Opera. I would take her rto see it if it comes again.

I've always really wanted too. Especially in New York ON Broadway. I have seen Stomp. Which isn't a broadway play but a pretty big musical show of sorts. That was excellent. I'd totally go see them again. One of these days I'll see something on broadway.

I love the theatre, so I have been to several shows, including the Phantom of the Opera (which remains my all time favorite). Other shows that I've been to are 42nd Street, Pirates of Penzance (I think I've spelt that wrong!)and Fame, as well as the stage versions of Wizard of Oz, The Lion King and Dirty Dancing. I always enjoy the atmosphere of the theatre, even if the show isn't quite what I expected.

I almost had a chance to see Pirates of Penzance (yeah, I don't know the spelling either). Was Rex Smith in that one? By the way, tell me more about the "atmosphere" of the theatre. :) It's not anything like a movie theather?

I have seen four plays on Broadway. I saw Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Rent, and The Producers. All of them were AMAZING. Obviously my favorite was Phantom. As far as I know its still playing so if you get the chance you should go see it. As for the big productions right now i'm not sure. Either way I give Broadway a major thumbs up!!! :)

I'm not sure if it's still playing, but Hairspray was a big hit on Broadway. I'm not sure what else is playing right now but there are always quite a few at any given time. I saw "How to Succeed In Business" many, many years ago. Then I saw "Annie" when Allison Smith was the star, I saw "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and I saw another one which wasn't a musical and I can't think of the title right now. It was a murder mystery. I would say it's well worth it to see a play on Broadway! My husband wasn't in the least bit interested (he didn't go!) so it may not be for everybody but I loved all of them. Let me know if you go see one. Annie

AARRRGGHHHH we have the same taste! I've fallen in love with Phantom of the Opera ever since I saw the 1990 TV show with Charles Dance as Phantom. Then I read the book and fell more deeply in love with it. I'd also LOVE to watch Phantom of the Opera in a real opera house. Are you sure it's not going to be shown again? :-(((((( I'm so sad now. I've never seen a Broadway play, though I wouldn't mind going to one! ;-D

Oh I would LOVE to see one! Phantom of the Opera would be my first choice. I just can't afford something like that.
