I have one and I LOVE it!! I can make the best soups in town..LOL! I love that no mater what you put in it its ready to eat in like 20 min. I make beef soup in mine. I put the Beef broth and stew meat in to simmer while I cut vegetables. I add celery, carrots, potatos, onion, fresh garlic clove, and chunked up seasoned tomatos. Close the top of the cooker and in 20 min you have really tender meat and the veggies are perfect..not mushy and not undercooked. I only payed 25$ for my pressure cooker. The only thing is the noise it makes. I dont mind it now but at first I thought it was going to expload!! LOL. It makes a whissling, hissing sound very scary at first. Do you have a Pressure Cooker and do you cook in it??

I had a pressure cooker and I loved it. Meat is so tender when cooked that way. I love doing chicken or beef roasts that way and then making beef or chicken and noodles, The rubber ring in mine wore out. Hopefully I can get a new one soon.

I made beef soup in mine tonight for dinner. It was sooo tender. I think they sell replacement parts for them. I had one and the same thing happened so I bought a new one.

I've never owned or tried one before but have been curious though a little scared to try one out. I think it's great you can make stuff so quick. Have you/can you make anything besides soups in it? Where did you buy yours?

You can make all kinds of things in it. I got mine at Wal-mart. As long as you lock the lid in place you will be fine. The food will stay in the pot and cook. When its ready you have to wait for the pressure to be released before you open it otherwise it will boil over. It really easy to use and makes great food.

I shipped mine over when I moved here. I guess hubby thought it was taking up too much space. He told me he threw it out a couple of months ago.

Pressure cooker is one of the most important accessories of our kitchens. Especially in cold places or on hill stations it works to cook very fast and well. Its good performance is the cause of its popularity. It is commonly used in our homes, and also out door cooking places. It cooks lot of cookeries. But I like to cook beef and beef made foods in it. It requires special care as it could also be burst during cooking some eatables in it. We should learn and care timing aspects relating to pressure cooker. It is best for soup and other tasty food.

I have a pressure cooker at home. But I don't use it. I am always worried to use it because it makes a horrible sound and I am afraid it will bomb:)

I have never used a pressure cooker. I have a slower cooker that I use and let my stuff cook all day. i have a 9 month old that would probably have a problem with me using a pressure cooker if it makes a lot of noise.

Pressure cooking is not so difficult. In India millions of people use. It cuts done cooking time if used properly. Besides, it is less costly. It is wonderful to use even in outdoors

I sure do, and like you I love it :) Food is ready faster and for certain things it really makes them better. I know what you mean about the sound, but I am so used to it that it doesn't bother me at all. I don't use my pressure cooker for everything, of course but I do use it often and the money I paid for it was well worth.

Well, I learn t cooking with a pressure cooker at a very young age. I use it everyday and can't do without it for a day. I also cook rice in it apart from lentils, vegetables and soups. The sound does get my baby scared but I guess she will get used to it just like me, from a very early age.

The only time Ive ever used a pressure cooker is when I was making Rajma (indian dish-red beans and rice). Other than that, Ive never used it. I remember my mom using it when I was a kid too cook certain veggies in. They were so good.

Mom had a pressure cooker and when she used it we all had to leave the room becasue it was dangerous. I use the slow cooker myself. I can fix my dinner at night, come home to a nice smelling house and dinner ready to go. Fast is good but I can savor my food longer this way.
