Who is the person behind the username?

I was looking at our usernames and wondered how each one of us has come up with our name. Some are very creative, serious and funny. Some seems meaningless but I believe each name tells something about the real person behind it. So why don't we tell something about our username how & why may be. It's a kind of introducing ourselves and I'll start it. When I was in high school, I joined a choir for our school. I simply believe that I have a good voice that God has given to me. My friends often called it as a voice of an angel. They said that it sounds sweet and they love to hear. So, I just called myself 'angelicvoice'. It may be simple and not convincing but I believe it is real. hehehe How about you?

Lecanis is always my name. Lecanis has been my name for years. For a while, before I met my husband, I used another name that fit my mood of the time, but Lecanis is the name that has a deep history for me. It is part of the name of a spirit that a relative of mine had as his totem spirit of sorts. He compared me to her because I am stubborn, silly, curious, loving, and mischievous. He called me that first when I was a small child, and it's been with me in some way or other since then. I feel that my namesake spirit watches out for me. I can't exactly use her name offline, because no one would understand and it would just sound silly, so I use it online, where much of my real emotional and social contact takes place anyway.

I think ur totem name is amazing and would love to hear more of it - I called myself daddy'sgirl cause I was and we laid him to rest yesterday - usually a saten (my dog) or dragoness cause affinity with dragons, but I'd love to hear more about ur totem as we sound similar and I think it's gorgeous cheers ;0)

Those are interesting usernames! Sorry to hear about your father. For me, I'm just... too spiritual. I am half Native American and half Irish, and when I was a little kid I learned old religious traditions from both sides, so I had a lot of interesting spiritual experiences. While these days I lean far more to the Celtic side religiously, there are certain parts of my Native American heritage that never leave me. Lecanis is one of those. Where exactly Lecanis Nih came from isn't something my relative could tell me (he was a cousin of my great-grandfather's, but I referred to him as "Grandfather" because I stayed at his house with his grandchildren for a while. So for simplicity I'll just say my grandfather.) Anyway, his story was that he met her during a spirit journey when he was first doing his own spiritual training, and that she spoke to him of me and of his grand-children, and many other things in the future. After scouring legend after legend from many cultures, I and my friends finally found a couple of older references to her, but they were very obscure sources. Her story is that she is a lion spirit (well, not lion exactly, but an ancestor of the lion), who became curious about what it would be like to be other types of animal or spirit. So she actually made a deal to "try out" different existences. Hence being known as being stubborn, but also rather silly, because most types of spirit don't play these kinds of games. Having her as one of his spirit guides was a funny experience for my "grandfather", since he tended to be overly serious... but in my experience spirits often choose us for the things we lack that they can add. The thing that I lack that she gives me is an ability to detach myself from situations emotionally when I have to, which she's gotten me to do a few times in the past when I really needed it. There are other spirit guides that I have, and there are Gods that I follow, but Lecanis is more casually with me than most of them are.

I think it,s really easy to see where I come up with my name lol I've been using the same name on internet for 5-6 years. I use to be a big fans of beyonce. I still like her, but not a big fan like I use to be, but I have kept the name :P The 03 is the number I put after every username I choose. It's my lucky number :)

Every name has its meaning. Sometimes it will be a tough task to choose another username when I find my most frequent one is invalid. I want to be happy when I see my name.

Well, on here my username is Ciniful, which doesn't have any deep meaning beyond that I liked the play on words. A friend in a forum group once called me Sinful, and I'm far too cute for that, so I cutified it. :P They were right, lol ... in terms of the word definition, sinful likely fits, but I had to add my own twist to it. ;) My 'usual' online name is Jaded, and that one does have a bit more of a history behind it. My husband has always called me his angel. When I started out line, I simply went by angel ... but not only is that nowhere near defined enough for a world full of people, it's also not descriptive of me. So I added the word 'jaded' in front of it, and became the jaded angel. Eventually I dropped the angel part altogether and became just Jaded. I've used that online name for more than 5 years.

My name is Kishan. Once a numerologist suggested that I change the way i spelt my name to Keeshan. I kept my nickname as "keeshan" in my Office internal messenger. Everyone started calling me as Keeshan with a stress on "ee" and it has been so since then. Though I officially spell my name as Kishan only.

Hi angel, well on here I go by palonghorn, the longhorn part was what my boyfriend's guys at work started calling me when I moved here from Austin, and I'm now in PA. He also refers to me as The Texan lol. I also went by txwildblaze or blaze, which had to do with being a wildland fire fighter.

I made up this name about ten years ago when I was younger, which I can't really remember how I came up with it then. But to this day, I just use it for everything and have the same pasword with it. That way when i have signed up for something, I don't have to sit there and think about what my username and password is because I know it is the same for everything. I guess being ten years later I should start to change it, but it just seems like such useless effort to all of a sudden decide that I need a change. But i do infact agree that I need a change.
