Whats gonna happen with Jack?

I don't know about anyone else but I have noticed a very unpleasant change in Jack's character ever since he was tortured by that sadistic broad last season. What do you think they are going to do with his character? Will they get him psych help, are they going to fire and replace him or will they just turn him into the bad a$$ FBI agent that is knock heads together first and ask questions later?

i have noticed that his charachter has become much darker than it was in the first seasons. I also think the show is not as entertaining as it was when it first came out in 2002.

I haven't got that far in watching the series but he's always been emotionally damaged/fragile to some degree - especially violently lashing out during his devorce proceedings.
