Has your cat ever behaved like a dog? Mine has a fondness for bones. She managed to find a bone in the garden and started chewing on it like crazy. she made threatening sounds in her throat and wouldn't allow anyone to go near her. Has your cat done anything dog-like? Please share your experiences.

I don't have a cat that behaves like a dog. But I did have a dog that behaves like a cat. At the the time we have our dog she was just a puppy. She grew up with the cats that she acquired our cats' habit of walkng on top of the wall fences. Those fences are quite high and our dog is big so I am just wondering how in the world she was able to climb the wall.

Hi earth2jacq, thanks a lot for responding. Glad to be introduced to your dog!! Convey my best regards to her. Have you posted a picture of her somewhere? The idea of a big dog walking on top of the fence is awesome. She must have superb balance.

Yes, we now have three cats but Humphrey (the cat in my avatar) is my favorite and he favors me. When I drive home, if he is outside or can get outside, he will walk up to the car door, wait for me to get out and walk up the path to the door with me. I think that's very dog like behavior but I love it when he does that.

Your cat is cute, irisheyes. My cat, Catherine, is of the same color but she is smaller in size. What a coincidence, isn't it? I am sure you must be feeling good when Humphrey comes forward to welcome you. I thought only dogs show that sort of affection, and cats stay aloof a bit. My cats love to climb me as if I am a tree and then they sit on my shoulder and mew.
