The stupidity of others

Ok so I got a message from a friend of mine telling me that folks are again trying to start crap concerning me. For those of you who know me you know that I have been a member of this site for about a yr now. Well about 6 or 7 months ago I got a bit fed up with the drama and BS that was going on so I decided to leave. In that I contacted the admin on this site and had them cancel my old account. Well while I was gone my loving friends came and stalked me at myspace till I promised to return here lol. Now with all that being said it seems that people like to try and start rumors of how I was banned or what have you. Well lets end that nice little retarded notion right now. I have not ever been nor do I intend on being banned from this site. If by chance that ever does happen, I have no real intentions of comming back. This place is for the most part a bit boring to me and my main reson for comming here is to communicate with my friends and maybe share my ideas here and there with others. So if anyone else wants to start a crap about me, please at least know your facts first.

Hi devilsangel! I'm sorry to hear that people have been spreading rumors about you. You shouldn't let it bother you, though. You and the people that you care about know the truth and that's all that matters. Who cares what others say or think? Also, by responding, you're really just giving them what they want. People like that love to get a rise out of their targets. It's what gets them to continue.

Thanks, ya know you're right. I guess it just anoyed me because I've got enough stress in my life and to have some stranger try and stir up more got to me. I shall take your advice and just let it go :).

I think that was when you & I first met when you cancelled your first account, & I can verify that you were not banned. I don't remember the reasoning behind it, as it was a while ago.
This means that anyone who claims that you got banned is a liar, & therefore, has no honor. If they heard it from someone else, they're probably gullible. Hopefully, this will kill rumors.

LOL, you know your avatar sums up perfectly my feelings about all this. Everytime I see it I have to laugh. I just find it funny that they wait 7 months before starting this crap. I mean seriously if ya wanna start a whooha about something do it when it first happens.

I pretty much try to ignore that crap. It happens to me all the time, so, I've got a lot of experience dealing with it.
My hypothesis is that people who do this gossiping mostly do it to see the reaction of the target of the gossip. React very little continue making good posts,responses, and comments. Then you deny the creeps a lot of their fun, while making them look foolish for saying bad things about you.
It's a win/win for you and a big loss for them.

hi devilsangel, you your self said that they are rumors, then why should you bother and write about that. Just forget and get in to your business. Don't bother what others say, Internet is a ocean and nobody concerns about personal remarks, infact it is the people who are craping you are more noticed because their personal remarks on others and they will get no friends at all in future.
So don't get worried about others and start your work.

bah..a troll is a troll is a troll...they come in all shapes, sizes, forms and ways and sadly we'll never be able to kill off the b@stards (though that could be very entertaining).....
Glad you did come back Dev and fk the trolls....just think how pathetic their lives must be if this is what they need to do in order to feel important :-/

You know,some people are just not happy until they can try to make other peoples life miserable. They don't care about facts, they see what they want to see so they can have a story to tell in their little gossip circle.
You never got banned nor have you ever hidden who you are. so I dare them.....

It takes two people (sometimes more) to continue an argument and only one person to end it.
If you ignore them, eventually they will get bored, give up and go away.
It looks likes it's probably against your nature to walk away from a fight, but trust me, it really isn't worth it.
Just enjoy keeping in touch with your friends and ingore the gossips.
Unless, you really do get a little rush out of "going at it" with people. Which, sometimes does happen.
You choose your reaction to things. Nobody can do that for you.
