Marikina Fault Line soon to cause massive earthquake?

I've come across an article on the net about the Marikina Fault Line. It turns out that it's almost about to cause a massive earthquake sometime this century. The article explains that the fault line always causes a massive earthquake every 500 years with up to 9.0 magnitude on the scale. It was last recorded to have caused an earthquake some time before the 1600s and since then it hasn't caused any major earthquakes yet.
Do you guys have any relative informations about this? What do you guys think we can do to prepare ourselves if ever this massive earthquake occurs?

Well this has been in the news for sometime now and it seems nobody seems to take it seriously. I do hope that everybody would be ready when that times comes. But then for sure there will be casualties for these kinds of events. I do pray that such an event would not happen at all. The best way to prevent such large scale destruction is really avoid the place where you suspect it would happen.

I hear the area in Quezon City near the fault system will be highly affected by this quake but would be less hazardous than Manila. Quezon City is above solid ground so it will be less hazardous.

i believe everytime earthquake occurs volcanic eruption will follow!The best thing to do is always pray to GOD to give extension of our existence in this world with importance in his plans for this world and the coming new generations.alam mo isa ako sa taong pinahayagan ng maaring kaganapang ito, isa nga itong paglilinis ng maykapal sa likong pag iisip ng maraming tao sa ating bansa!kapag ang mga tao ay nahirati sa likong pangangatwiran para lang ariing ganap ang maling gawi nila,yayanigin na talaga ng lumikha ang lupain para patagin ang gusot na pananaw ng mga tao.Ang pagkilala sa banal na Dios ay may malaking kahalagahan sa pag iral nmg mga tao sa ating bansa.
