I also feel like Christmas Grandpa Bob and it is the most awaited season of the year here in my country. I love Christmas and it always makes me feel good. We don't have snow here in my country but when the air starts to get cooler and we start to have typhoons every other day (LOL!) then definitely, Christmas is already around the corner. would definitely welcome snow if ever we will have one.

I LOVE snow, specially the huge flakes that gently fall. So pretty when it does that. Yeah, I'm ready for the snow but is the snow ready for me is the question. lol We got the go-kart rarin' to go and plan on using it this winter for some off-roadin' fun.

This photo looks very Christmassy!! I bet your Grandkids love coming around & seeing all this. We put up our 2 metre Christmas tree last weekend. The kids decorated it with LOTS of tinsel & various bought & homemade decorations. I intend taking a photo of it & entering it in a local supermarket competition. Near the tree is a coffee table where they have placed other decorations. I am going to drop a hint to my husband that he put up the outside lights this weekend.

My oldest grandson loves the decorations. He told me that I am the one person he knows that puts up the most lights. Hee hee. Something like that anyhow. I used to have 10 foot tall real trees as a kid. Had the fireplace with stockings hanging from the mantle and all. A very typical movie Christmas setting when I was a child. Get them lights up. wonderful Grandpa. We are getting our first "snow" of the season tonight. We've had flurries, but it's been steady tonight. No accumulation expected, maybe grassy areas. The roads are still too warm. I live in an apartment for now (in the process of buying a house) and there is a balcony/patio decorating contest. We just finished decorating it up yesterday. My boys & I had tons of fun doing it. I'll let you know if we win.. :)

Our roads aren't too warm. The plows and salt trucks were out in force when I left to get the wife. I spun out and slid 3 times on the way to get her. Nearly smashed into a cement barrier when I spun out. Whew too close. sOUNDS NICE. hAVE A PHOTO OF IT MAYBE? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I am sooooooo ready! My kids are here from Lincoln Ne...they drove through a storm on the way up through DesMoines...it was very bad! I think the first real storm people forget how to drive. It was 25 miles an hour on the interstate for a while. My son-in-law loves it though and stands outside in the snow without a jacket...he loves the cold. It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!

We don't have snow here GrandPa, but we do have a storm here coming this saturday!LoL I haven't put any christmas lights yet outside of our house, but I'll sure be setting them up after the storm has passed. I always dream of having a white Christmas someday, I hope that I do experience it for change!;)

OUr house is not done yet...but I have a question for you? Are those lights in the trees or are those very bright stars...it looks like your lights go up into the sky? What is your secret?

The bright lights are the flash from the camera reflecting off the snowflakes actually. And I am lost as far as my lights go up into the sky? They are just clipped on the roof and windows and deck is all. HAHAHA! Thanks also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi Grandpa Bob, Your house looks beautiful! I love Christmas decorations, but we just decorate the inside, except for a 'Christmas door hanging' that we put on the outside. We're supposed to have snow by morning, so we 'may' wake up to our first snow on the ground. I like it up until Christmas, and then I've had enough, as the older I get, the less I like our long winters here. I've rated and commented on this photo also. Enjoy your turkey. I wish I was having it again today, but will have to wait until Christmas now.

I am actually missing lights on my garage as well this year. The old ones needed replacing and that didn't happen. HAHAHA! My bad! I love the lights and displays all over during this time of year. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I love all of the decorations and lights as well.:) How was your Thanksgiving? I hope your dad enjoyed the outing. I know you went to your daughter's, but did you tell 'us' the details yet?

I won't argue that it does look very pretty but in answer to your question I sure can wait and it wouldn't make me mad if I waited forever to see my next snowfall! I guess I trudged through my fill of it delivering mail but to be honest I was never much of a "snow bunny" to begin with, even as a kid. I could have fun playing in it for awhile then my fingers and toes got cold and I was ready to go inside. Annie

I honestly don't know if it's going to snow here in North Carolina. It snowed here for a little bit in January and then it melted by mid day. Anyhow, I lived in Florida so long I have a hard time relating snow to anything anymore hahaha! I bet that first snow is just lovely! Thanks for sharing that picture too!

In our country, it's already windy and we can feel the spirit of Christmas. Rains come pouring down once in a while, but the cold nights seem to be here.
