When can you say it's enough?

How can anyone deal with the pressure that goes around in everyday life? It would be nice to know how others go about their problems. I understand that we all have different problems and the gravity of it, but how do people lift themselves?

I've learned that if I DON'T say enough that I'm the one who is going to suffer so I try to end it before it starts. Usually I know what conversations or people to stay away from so it won't happen.

That's good for you! How do you do it/what do you do when you say you know what conversations to stay away from? Lately, I am the one who suffered for not being able to say 'enough'. Sometimes, I consider the fact that the people I have to speak with are from work and they are also my friends outside of work. How can I draw the line? I would already know if I am suffering but unfortunately, sometimes, I don't say anything and I get in a more serious situation and in trouble.
